Denture help part 1/2 (Yes I will add the end of me rambeling)

Thank u for posting this, I just wrote u a bit about my story, but my comment was too long and it disappeared(lol)! I am awaiting my upper denture and lower partial, I get them in 2 days on July 6th. Sore spots? Are they so bad? Can't be as bad as tooth pain infections, rotting teeth I'm sure :) btw your teeth are beautiful :)

hey there you have been quite helpful so i subbed to you may i ask why did you get dentures? i am getting dentures (whole set) bottom and top. and i should get mine next week. does it take time to get use to them? the reason i ask i am kinda nervous and stuff when ever i do get them :/ for some reason i have been having this nervous feeling.

@BrittBrittanyBrat Well I did more updates-Idk if utube plays them. I lost my teeth due to anorexia/bulimia-Mainly anorexia.. I lost my teeth at 23, I am 28 and it is a LONG process, and yeah takes a long time to get use to. This was actually helpful to me since Ive been having ALOT of dental issues and I just had some crowns keep falling off so now all I can get is implants which of course cost wayyyy too much or dentures......ughh Im not too thrilled with either choice but anyways, its just nice to see someone whos young also going through this. (you're beautiful btw)

A few points:

1. Some remaining teeth on the bottom can hold the lower tight, when that's an option.

2. Glop like polident takes about an hour to set well, then is good for a day or two.

3. Beware of zinc. Zinc-free is available.

4. Takes trial and error and throwing away nearly full products to find your best products and procedures.

Thank you for posting this, I just got my UPPER dentures 2 days ago. I'm still having a hard time getting used to the gag reflexes but they are fitting really well.

Wow thats a big difference from ur first set . Very nice. I will be going in for surgery next month to get full upper n lower. I nervous but not about the pain just about function and appearance. Was wondering where u went (dentist) im in NY and there a a few but urs are amazing :) thanks 4 ur vids JpsOne NY

@UrbanMinerz wow congrats, I wish I could have got all 4... I had my surgery March 1st of this year, so they are almost healed, I see the oral surgeons on the 17th of this month. Idk when they will make it so my bottoms clip it. Good luck. It is beyond painful, but worth it.

@berwyn79 To this day I have trouble-I haven't updated but I still have no teeth ready to wear. My best glue for me is the powder kind from poligrip. But really good dentures don't need glue... Mine have fallen out a lot, the new ones I cannot test yet:/

about how much time did it take after the bottom implant surgery before you could comfortably use them again? i'm getting my bottom perms in decmeber and would like to know how long the healing process is...seeing as my birthday is about a month after christmas i'm hoping i'll be able to eat and talk noramlly then :) I love your videos, they inspire me to keep on living my journey with my dentures!

@nerdgirlism They take about 6-8 months to heal. Mine are not healed yet. They should be-depending on each person, by September...N my dentures are not proper yet-The bottoms are sore n they leave me with mouth sore, b/c they cannot attach them to the implants until they are healed:/ Long painful process.

I just wanted to let you know that your new teeth look great. You will stop biting the inside of our cheeks after you are completely used to your new lower denture. Congratulations on your new dentures!

@Racer079 ty, I never have had that problem b4. Also I cannot wear them til the implants heal. So I wore them for a few hours during the vid, obviously. And will wear them long on Wednesday so they see the sores...The implants hurt so much after I took out the bottoms:/

@Racer079 nah they have to keep fixing it. B/c my implants are not healed, one cap is bigger due to skin over growth. So I will have so much discomfort, until they fix it for that. Than when they put back the original cap, they have to reline:/

@tostaoman no, like I said in the description, I just cut it off, cos I ramble and utube only allows 10mins. I had 12 mins, and IF I left anything out, than post ur comments/questions here and I will address them in another video:)

@tostaoman I will try next video-cos my cam sucks n they implants are not healed-so we'll see what I can show. The just look like 2 piercings on my lower gums.
