  • Where is she? Where is the contact? What band? About what time of day? Lots of question, I know!

  • Great video. The micro key looks interesting. It would be interesting to see some close in detail of this. G0LVH

  • it's cool nice CW

  • That's cool Bonnie

  • Location: Hong Kong seashore.

Equipment: Vertex VX-1210 HF SSB/CW/AM transceiver

    Power: 25W

Antenna: Fishing pole with wire wrapped around it, with wire counterpoise laying on ground.

  • This is great... would like to see more of the gear and how you use the fish pole matching etc. Didn't get to see much of the key nor did you mention how much pwr.

Great video .. looked like fun

  • whel dobble use ...antenna and fishing in the sea :)

  • Not many women in HAM, especially with CW....

  • Women make fine CW ops, by and large. I think they tend to have more patience when learning it than us blokes, and are less heavy handed in sending. In WW2, lots of women were employed as monitors at the listening posts. There's a certain YL op (a G3) over here who sends some of the finest morse you'll ever hear.

  • That's nive advertising for CW!

    Thank you Bonnie.

  • Fantastic!!

    73, good contacts

  • This was not an attempt at any kind of award. It was just a nice QSO between friends across the sea.

  • im insting in ham radio

  • The radio is a Vertex VX-1210 (Yaesu). Antenna is a fishing pole with a wire running up it. A wire counterpoise.

  • EXCELLENT!!! How fascinating! What kind of equipment and power were you running?
