Beatnuk....it is true what Tommy says. From one perspective the universe is born out of violence. From another perspective however, the universe is born from serenity, calm & love. When a woman gives birth, it is a painful, violent act..yet it is also beautiful, divine and full of unconditional love. Tis the same with the universe. The perspective you choose to view the universe (or indeed childbirth) with, is what you will get. Love & Light :)

that the universe is violent?

many things make me think that.

we have entire galaxies colliding with each other, stars colliding, planets, super novas, red giants, it goes on and on, violence is all around in this chaotic universe. The world is full of violence, civilization is violence, survival is violent, the entire universe is born of violence, lives in violence, and has much more violence is store.

Neither is man violent, nor is nature, nor universe. But man is allowed to act violently, because he'd been given free will.

Material reality is always an infinite process of coming to existence, remaining for some time, and being disbanded, finally.

If you judge material existence with terms like violent/peaceful, good/bad, your thinking is in duality. People of that attitude are in danger of thinking that GOD loves/rewards the one, but hates/punishes the other.

Yes, I do agree.

Female/male and even light/dark are of equal quality (that's POLARITY). They creat the playground of material exsitence we need for our learning process.

But if you start judging, and start saying one would be better/worse than the other, you fall into DUALITY, and so you start to seperate yourself, to consider yourself better/worse than others.

I dont think on terms of this is evil, and this is not.

Nor would I call a whole country an axis of evil. Thinking on those simple levels, are the problem.

I accept that survival, and life it's self, is born of violence and commits acts of violence in order to live. You have to eat, wheather you kill vegetable plants, fruit, or animals to eat, it's a violent act, just like nature is violent, as is the entire universe.
