The Isettas that were made in Germany for export to United States many were 4 wheel. The Isettas that were made in Britain many were 3 wheel so they could be classified as motorcycles. I own a 57 and a 58 both made in Germany and they are 4 wheels. These cars are alot of fun to drive.
@booboo759 That is the first time I hear that there were threewheelers in the production programme. Isettas were often mistaken for threewheelers because of the rear wheels standing absolutely close together. Hence their heartless nickname: "Schlaglochsuchgerät" = pothole detection implement. Potholes missed by the front axis were surely "found" by one of the rear wheels.
Beautifull!!!!!!! In Argentina you can find many Isettas 57 and 58.-Good luck!
