When I read the comments posted about Scola's athletic abilities it feels like he's got none. Don't get me wrong but Scola is a beast regarding strength and cardio (even compared to other NBA players) plus he's quick and mobile for his height. There's no discussion, physichal abilities and shot technique is far beyond on NBA players, but there are no defense rules (no rule about man to man or 3 seconds on defense). That brings a lot of defense tactics, and so there are much more ways to attack. Most of them have to play that way because they're not always as athleticly gifted. Scola drops out and hits 17-20 footers all the time. And in my opinion he has more finesse at the rim than Gasol has. I've seen him put some amazing lay ins that usually are reserved for smaller, quicker players.
