  • lol dude thats terrible...you never have the side blowing out....ever..it ruins the heat exchange for your motherboard...make all 4 of those fans blow in...make the front blow in..the top and both rear's blow out...and you'll get way better cooling...trust me

  • Oh wow lights just makes computer look gayer, The only thing I like about fag macs is they look nice, but fuck thats a fast system

  • "I'm not planning on doing anything hardcore, so I DDR2 is fine with me."

Uh, then why do you have 10 fans? (counting ALL of them)... surely someone who wasn't planning on doing hardcore things would only need 5 or so.

  • nice rig dude!

  • Hey guys, got to 3.4ghz stable no prob. Actually at 3.44ghz right now. Temps for Prime95 havent gone over 51C yet so I might try bumpin the voltage up a notch and goin for 3.5 or higher.

I need to post a new vid pretty soon, I'll work on it.

  • @Soltrain221 hmm thats weird i got my E5400 from 2.6ghz to 3.8Ghz and the temps havnt even raised 10c diffrence when gaming :L

  • hey guy how did you go call them for life time? replace some thing lke that let me hear from you any one else thank joe

  • you should ram a triple 120mm fan setup at the bottom,

  • love the song . who is that ?

  • @TheThaughtpeddler Its "Danny Boy" by Floater.

  • Great for a first PC build but you have too many fans.

  • what happens when there is 2 graphic cards?

  • Hmm.. i think u shuld have more outtake fans.

If u have to much intake air will make the air compact and warm so my tip is that u go for equal intake / outtake for best airflow :)

  • Depends on the case, more intake promotes possitive airflow meaning air is forced around like a tank into a car parking spot, thats good for smaller cases where you can get away with 2 exhaust and 3 / 4 intake, on bigger cases equal airflow is neccesary, on my cosmos i have 2 intake / 4 exhaust ^^ All depends on CFM Mate, i could have 6 shit exhaust fans and 1 high cfm fan and still run a good setup,

  • lol why so many fan when u could turn on the AC

  • pretty soon you will be better and better!

    nice done!

  • Gratz on side cooling, though you should have put in a 250mm fan there instead. Adding more fans only provides an additive effect instead of exponential which you would get with a 250mm fan.

  • @carric771 shut ...up...

  • Good work dude...only 1 question: why 1000w psu?!?

  • future upgrades most likely smart if you can afford it get it always works outs cheaper in the long run :D

  • @MagicParadise85 Now a year later Im building a new pc and will be adding another 4870 so I guess it never hurts to have extra power. I still have room to make a larger vga config in the future.

  • What's with all the lights? I understand why you want it, it looks cool, but it's really a waste of power. I have a boring old case that i built my pc in. I know why you like them, it's just that I don't. And sense this comment already makes no sense I'm going to post it now.

  • he didn't really add all those lights, they are actually built into the colling fans, and they dont really waste much electricity

  • Great system! Nice case. Done by MNPCTech, yeah it's really nice. Nice choice of hardware, must be fast. The 80mm on the case floor must really help keep the video card nice and cool. One of the most complete system I have seen, a lot of design there. 5* for sure!

  • I got my q9400 to 3.2 ghz stable but cant get to 3.4 stable! My pc freezes up after a minute or two. Any suggestions?

  • Try raising the voltage? What motherboard are you using?

  • Just flipped the fans on the side panel around to intake air which works way better and also did some more cable mngmnt, plus a few other changes. I'll be posting a new vid soon.

  • Cathodes are pretty cheap on newegg

  • nice for your first build. Bill Owens does a great job, but did you not want to take that mod on yourself. The only suggestion I would have would be to work on cable mgmt. If the cables will not go behind the mobo tray because of the upper rail you can notch it to allow the cables to pass through. just a suggestion. 5/5

    Cheers

  • This build is definately a work in progress. I still plan on sleeving the rest of the cables and I am going to borrow my boss' dremel and cut out a few holes for cables. Thank you for the advice.

  • That sounds good. Be looking forward to your post after you have done some modding. I am posting a 3 part vi tonight on sleeving, check it out if you have time.

  • Nice build

I would put the fans on the side of the case as intake fans and the rest out take so the air is blowing directly onto your mobo.

also you should definatly put the cpu fan blowing towards the cpu.

  • I am going to wait and see what temps I'm getting first and then I'll go from there. but thank you for your input.
