Reasons why I believe this discovery is a hoax: 1) Expedition team refused to provide evidences to the public, except to the scientists they provided. 2) Expedition team "announces", "certifies", and "closes" the discoveries way too early. 3) There are things which are "wrong" inside the wooden structure based on the videos. 4) Based on an unrelated interview with Panda Lee, it is best to "close" this finding as soon as possible. 5) Noah's Ark cannot exist based on the biblical details given.
Of course you can carry the woods up to that height, because you have the help from the Turkish government to deliver the woods for your expedition team to "discover". And they probably did it with a chopper to speed up the process.
@nicelogin2 how did anyone plant a substantial wooden construction under the ice at this very high altitude on Greater Mt. Ararat?! IF this was a hoax, it needed to be planted thousands of years ago, ice at this high altitude do not form or melt over a short period of time.
Turkey gov helped transporting thousand pounds of wood to 6000m Mt Ararat?! Really?!
@low787 Yes, no kidding. People will go far length to prove themselves correct, even if they have to come up with a story like Noah's Ark. In order to push a boat to 6000m high, you would need about three times the amount of all ocean water on Earth. So, where is the rest of the water now? This is just one of the many flaws from the story.
If Noah's Ark had landed on Turkish's territory, of course Turkish government is going to support it. Because it will make boost the tourism and flame.
@nicelogin2 Well I'm not a religious personnel so I can't comment on the sciences about a bible story. i'm only interested in THIS discovery. As you mentioned, it could've been a house, or anything built by 'mountain living people' years ago (not been verified about this). this was a 'great finding/discovery' that i was referring to. by jumping so quickly to call it a 'hoax' without substantial evidences only shows that you have serious bias against this group, which i have no idea why.
@low787 This really shows that you know nothing about this "discovery" to begin with. I don't have to prove anything to show that this is a hoax. Those people who come up with the finding are the ones that need to prove that this is not a hoax. And they are refusing to provide real evidences. If they CAN'T provide anything, then this is likely to be a hoax. It is as simple as that. With their lack of cooperation with the scientific community, I have the right to play against their credential.
@low787 And about that wooden structure. It still hasn't been verified by the public. Because the expedition team refused to present the material samples to anyone, except to their own Christian "scientists". To the end, no one truly knows what that structure is. With the lack of proof provided by the expedition team, they are making themselves look like as if they are generating a hoax rather than a "real" story. As it leans, the entire world believes that this is a hoax.
@nicelogin2 By involving Turkish government into this deal you're opening up a conspiracy theory, which presents even weaker evidence than this Noah Ark claim. I mean, who are these HK people really, you really think the Turkish Government would do all the work and make up the story with these 'no body'? SOme common sense please. You dont like them, that's fine. You can hate them all day long, please but don't make up another conspiracy theory, we've had enough these days....
@low787 Serious, you really need to learn more than just an ark story here. So, please educate yourself first. First off, I didn't come up with the Turkish government conspiracy theory to begin with. It all began when one of the explorers who refused to move on with the expedition. Secondly, that piece of land was under Turkish government's control. While those "nobodies" gave a shot to make your land a huge landmark, why not give them a shot? The Turkish government wouldn't lose anything.
@low787 One thing is for sure, there were people who lived on high attitude places- and still are, such as the Tibetans and Nepalese. And these people have special body features which allow them to adapt low oxygen environments. And these features don't happen overnight. Which means, their ancestors had to live in the high mountains thousands of years ago. Therefore, seeing an ancient frozen wooden structure on a high mountain is not something new or surprising to the scientific world.
@nicelogin2 i am doubtful that this is the Ark, but the hoax theory is highly unlikely. This is a great archeological finding no matter how you see it.
@low787 sorry, one last comment. This is NOT a great archaeological finding; it is an extremely SAD one. We know nothing about this finding other than knowing a wooden structure on a high mountain. And worst of all, we can't even verify if that was even on a high mountain. Because the expedition team refused to film the structure surroundings. We basically know nothing more.
I have a speculation as to why the team had to "certify & close" the case so early. Clue is on Panda Lee.
Just a hoax, google for " noahs-ark.tv "
