When i'm going 70mph on the highway, you hardly feel it and step on the accelerator, everyone around you seems as though they are standing still..
I just came back from a roadtrip to Los Angeles, and on the freeway i found a Merc CLS ($72,400 - $97,950) and i pulled up sidebyside, looked almost identical except his cost twice as much as a CC.

Why is it $35,000?? Pricey? Is he kidding? Here in Australia the base 323i coupe starts at $70,000, the 335i being over $100,000. An Accord is $35,000 here. You Americans don't know how damn lucky you all are.
The australian dollar is worth less, so you can't compare your prices to ours in that fashion. Economy and non-luxury cars can run 15-25k so it is pricey compared to them.
The Australian dollar is worth 92.2 US cents, so it isn't a big difference. $35,000 USD is about $38,000 AUD so that still doesn't explain the huge price difference. And yes, our smaller economy and non-luxury vehicles are priced from about $15,000 - $30,000 while the 3 series 323i coupe is over $70,000 which is a lower model than the one in the video. The 328i is well over $90,000. You would be amazed at how many people here buy them though.
It was at .65 less than a year ago, I just haven't been keeping up with it. They are probably keeping the prices the way they were because they know people are willing to pay that much for them, so they are making nearly 2x the money with no change on their part. Are economy or non-luxury cars as over-priced? I wonder if they tax everything or just those that are paying "want it tax." A new subaru legacy runs around 20k in Florida, honda fit 15k, and bmw 3 series around 35k.
The Subaru Legacy (called the Liberty here) starts at 34k. Honda Fit (Honda Jazz here) seems to be priced right at 16k while the 3 series sedan starts at 60k and 70k for the coupe.
I seriously doubt a 09 3 series will run laps around an 09 Infiniti G unless you have an M or paid $70,000 just to increase your horsepower by 10 and feel satisfaction of having more HP then an entry class Infiniti which is 328 HP stock. And give me a break an 09 3 series and even a 3 series Coupe only has 230 HP stock. Im sure you own a BMW cause its not far out from any ones reach and its a 3 series, possibly?!

I agree the Accord interior is very nice, but I didn't feel like there was anything special about it that really made it look awesome like how I feel the G interior does. If you aren't concerned about speed, the Accord is definitely a great choice, but I couldn't settle for anything less than a G37's performance.
G37 is great car, and it totally depends on how people like the way these two cars look. and other way with the budget, some like to waste alot, and some love to save. its just different opinion

I know that feeling very well. I just got my 328i sedan last Saturday. I was so excited that I don't recall to ever paying attention to what the finance officer was saying. I just signed all the x's got my keys and drove off w/ eager excitement. I love the new car smell. I hope it lasts longer. Love the angel eyes. I think it's better looking than the A4's headlights.

I hope you get the car you want. Never compromise on what they have on their showroom or lot. im pretty sure european low end models can get cloth, or could a while ago...thats just an assumption since i know that the infiniti G37 coming out in europe has the cloth option even though here its strictly leather
Im not sure if BMW carries cloth anymore, but it was a option in the last generation. Anyway I wouldnt see why people would get over the leather. Leather or leatherette looks much better with a european car in my opinion.

I test drive a 328i coupe. Thought the gas pedal was very stiff. Made the car feel very underpowered. I'm used to very light touch honda gas.
Was there something wrong with the car I was driving? Or, is the gas just that stiff? I rejected the 328i because of this.

Are economy or non-luxury cars as over-priced? I wonder if they tax everything or just those that are paying "want it tax." A new subaru legacy runs around 20k in Florida, honda fit 15k, and bmw 3 series around 35k.

The Subaru Legacy (called the Liberty here) starts at 34k. Honda Fit (Honda Jazz here) seems to be priced right at 16k while the 3 series sedan starts at 60k and 70k for the coupe.

I seriously doubt a 09 3 series will run laps around an 09 Infiniti G unless you have an M or paid $70,000 just to increase your horsepower by 10 and feel satisfaction of having more HP then an entry class Infiniti which is 328 HP stock. And give me a break an 09 3 series and even a 3 series Coupe only has 230 HP stock. Im sure you own a BMW cause its not far out from any ones reach and its a 3 series, possibly?!

Not to be technical but the BMW Homepage sites says a 335i coupe has 300HP and a 330i doesn't even exist in the 09 3 series line up?! I guess BMW lied though.. But obviously you are a huge fan of BMW's so ill leave it at that. Im not making it up Im just comparing both cars from the facts Ive read off the Infiniti homepage link and the BMW homepage link.

bmw didnt lie.... I live in Europe ... Horsepowers here are calculated a litle bit different than lets say the US. (brake horse power vs "normal" horsepower ... I guess)
And yes... for the US the 330i is not available... but in Europe it is ... it develops 272 bhp
And I'm not a HUGE fan of BMW ... I'm just huge fan of the E92 ... 3 series coupe .
Thats actually the last BMW that I like ....
The 3 series sedan is ugly
The Mercedes Benz S Class is >>> 7 series
The X5 is a mom truck.. etc

Its kinda sad that you're laughing at the 3series being an entry class and the ego of these bimmer owners. But if you're laughing at these owners just because they're only capable of getting an entry class BMW, then you might want to reconsider. Anyone capable of affording a BMW 325coupe in Singapore could afford a Maserati GTS in US. Anyway to cut it short I just find this comment kinda offensive if you're laughing at financial ability to own a car/entry level cause it differs in every country

I agree the Accord interior is very nice, but I didn't feel like there was anything special about it that really made it look awesome like how I feel the G interior does. If you aren't concerned about speed, the Accord is definitely a great choice, but I couldn't settle for anything less than a G37's performance.

I know that feeling very well. I just got my 328i sedan last Saturday. I was so excited that I don't recall to ever paying attention to what the finance officer was saying. I just signed all the x's got my keys and drove off w/ eager excitement. I love the new car smell. I hope it lasts longer. Love the angel eyes. I think it's better looking than the A4's headlights.

I drive a 335i and leather was an option which I took. Cloth was not the other option, it was leatherette. Get it right! ;)

Im not sure if BMW carries cloth anymore, but it was a option in the last generation. Anyway I wouldnt see why people would get over the leather. Leather or leatherette looks much better with a european car in my opinion.
