Well the cpu can ram of this computer is fine the video card is a pice of shit i mean fine for everyday task too bad i cant upgrade it

My friend, i need a huge favor from you, if you can locate the BIOS chip on this spiron 1545 for me you will be my GOD AND SUPER HERO i tokked the motheboard off but for the love of GOD i cannot locate where the BIOS chip is.. thank you! a million please let me know as soon as posible so i can put my laptop back together.

in the manual it says the fsb goes from 667/800/1066 with 1,2,3,6mb L2 cache

im currenty runnung a t3000 1.8ghz 800fsb 1mb L2 intel GM45 chipset.

so can i put a cpu same as yours, or say with a 6mb L2 1066fsb.
