Years later, Cathy married Edgar, making Heathcliff even more jealous, she had Catherine, died, and later Heathcliff started treating Catherine with cruelty but somewhat caring for her because of Cathy. See the similarities?
Although I feal soo bad for Snape, I still wouldn't have changed that Lily and James got married. James was a jerk, but he was acting like a normal teenage boy, teasing the odd kid in the class, not to mention he would've felt threatened by Snape because Lily gave Snape more attention than James. James was just acitng like a boy in love, and Snape let greed get in the way of love and joined the Death Eaters, separating him forever from Lily. Nice video. :)
If it wasn't for Jame and Lily being together and giving us Harry, I'd ship Lily and Snape 100x harder. I love those two together though, their story breaks my heart.
I love James, we don't know much about him sadly and most of what we know is that he was an arrogant, prick, but he obviously grew out of that, since Lily loved him, and she married him, he was a good friend, he loved lily and harry, everyone has been mean to someone we don't like in some point and I'm sure James kinda knew that Lily and Snape were friends and he was jelous, people judge him to harshly, snape, well I used to hate him after the 7 book I felt sorry for him but I don't love him
I don't hate James. Severus and James both had lots of flaws and made mistakes. James was self-absorbed, but later grew out of it. We all have enemies, some for trivial reasons, it just happens. I feel terrible for Sev, and it makes me wonder what would have happened if his life was a little brighter. That doesn't mean I hate James. He was a bully, yes, but we all are at times. We don't know everything about James, but I definetely don't hate him.

Snape really was a nice guy. The seventh book actually made me lose a little over half my respect for James. James was the bully. Severus was the victim.
The one where Snape dropped his book because he saw Lily kissing James,at 1:39,reminds me of one time I saw my love doing that,and I dropped my books to,and I felt like I was dying.
