  • How do you like the eberlestock pack you have. I thought i saw it there on your back. I was thinking of getting one just wanted to know your two cents or if your gonna do a gear review on it?

  • Every time i see one of your videos it makes me miss the southwest desert, after being stationed up here in Alaska for the past year im sure ready to get back to the desert after they send me to Bahrein for a year that is.

  • Man tell that annoying woman to shut up

  • CONT - the is Edge is now called the Axis

  • What is your guy's opinion on the Savage XP (formally known as the Edge) in .308

  • where do you live ?

  • Hey nutnfancy, I'm planning on buying my first Savage (First rifle, really) in a few weeks and don't know if I should buy a hinged floor plate or a Detachable box magazine? What would you recommend for a beginner like me? (It's for hunting)

  • 3:38 anyone else see the cars hes shooting over?

  • @MrBasshead123 he's shooting about 150+ yards to the left of the cars. Thats there cars anyways. not that the bullet would turn right and hit them anyways.

  • @MrBasshead123 About 50 or so car lengths left is where he is aiming.

  • What state to you guys shoot in? That land there is mesmerizing.

  • Savage is the defintion of accuracy. nuff said

  • I love the accu trigger on these

  • For the first few minutes I thought the female voice in the background was the numerator talking, pretty funny till I realized. Nice hits and beautiful landscape.

  • where can i get a good bi pod for my Remington 700 sps??

  • Good shooting. I'm a big Savage fan and shoot their .22 LR, .308 Win, and the .338 LM - great guns. It's tough to beat Savage for the money. See my review of the Savage 10 FCP - KEEP ON PREPPING

  • heck yeah crazytune13. I agree

  • Well I was just posting a comment about you showing us a Savage in .30-06 of larger and then I was like wait I thought you had mentioned it before and here we are. I paid $360 for one my buddy didn't want ($650 retail) added a $200 scope and I have a nice long gun. I only got to send a couple rounds down range at 350m and I nailed 6 for 6. I am waiting for my other rifle to show up tomorrow and plan to head out to the desert to see what that thing can really do.

  • Awesome stuff !!!

I have the 10 FCP-K with standard stock.

    Federal (American Eagle) 308 Winchester 150gr FMJ-BT at 650 and 700yrds

This rifle made me a true believer in Savage so much that I want the model 11 Long Range Hunter in .308.

  • Nice.

I have the 10FCP with McMillan stock.

    Sweet rifles.

Savage gives you the best bang for the buck all day long.

Screw Remington and having to customize them when Savage already shoots great right out of the box.

  • hey nutn what pack is that and when are u going to do a review on the 10fp

  • i would love to walk those hills, the landscape is beautiful, you're a lucky man to be able to shoot there... also nice shooting sir ;)

  • @BenjiREC Lol...I would tell you to do some research, but you dont need any to find out that none of the current GOP runners are for establishing a NWO lmao...

  • What kind of target system is this?

  • your the best man

  • That target system is awesome gimme

  • Mad jelly

  • 5:23 oops ? was that a lens cover?Good video nutn

  • I bet if you bought some better ammo like 168 gr. or 177 gr. Run the ballistics calculations you could run that target out to 1000 yards. I run a FN PBR 18" at 1000 yards on a plate all day long. My challenge to you! Love your vids. Have a great day.

  • nice.

  • The stormy sky and terrain remind me of The Shooter lol

  • Hey Nut'n, don't forget that every Marine has to qualify @ 500 yds with .556 ball and iron sights. Good shooting nonetheless!

  • Nice shooting, nutn!

  • Great shooting Nutn!

    -Solanum20

  • I have owned this same rifle for some time(over a year now). The 10FP LE, 24" heavy barrel, oversize lever, just like this one and with cheap Tula I get the same results :)

  • Love that long distance :) You could try this with .22WMR What do you think Nutn?

  • @IvanKesja I am not sure where you came up with this theory of yours but it does matter how a person shoots, because they could damage the weapon while shooting, they could be shooting without the thought of safety which could lead to injuries, and just shooting to hit the target could be plain luck, cause I know that if I handed a child a weapon that they would eventually hit the target...so stop replying with stupid comments cause you just sound ignorant

  • @bl33dblack223 if its bad for the gun then why do military trained profesional snipers use gloves in the field? and sry but a piece of cloth on your hand will not damage something thats made of steel or any material the gun may be made from

  • Respond to this video... plus if a method of shooting is bad for u then dont do it but your method is not the best ,noones is so stop with the elitest attitude here and jus do wat works for u and stop criticizing others for wat YOU believe is wrong, cuz sorry bro but you are wrong in this one

  • Hey Mr.Nutnfancy

For long range shooting you shouldn't wear gloves.....but then again I guess your the expert at everything? Don't worry though I remember shooting long range my first time too

  • @bl33dblack223 Sarcastic and unnecessary, you won't get very far trying to belittle anyone here.

  • Can u try the Remington 770

  • Savage is really a superior rifle; I think they can double the prices and still come on top.

  • what state does nut live in?

  • @BenjiREC ron paul (like most politicians) is nothing more than a slanderer, liar, and thief. Conservatives,Liberals,or Independents they're all the same. They take our money, sell our jobs, make war, imprison us, take from the poor and give to themselves. Today's politicians are not what was intended for America. Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, or whoever else are all the same just different agenda's... for themselves

  • Shoot biebers balls from 100 yards , then ill be impressed.

  • @ImAKwlDudeLloolL

you'd need a rifle that can hold a 1 hole group at 300 yds for that!

  • @ImAKwlDudeLloolL what balls

  • Excellent marksmanship as always! Keep it up brother

  • Great shooting Nutn!

  • @medadoodie no, its a 10 round semi-auto

  • WOW, that was way impressive shooting. Can you roll something in on your setup and equipment for this vid? Way to go Nutn, awesome video!

  • i think i would rather have nutnfancy as president than ron paul

  • gotta love Savage, those accutriggers and the accustock, they completely eliminate the need to buy a 700 and put another $1500 into it to make a really good rifle, A stock Savage one a 1000 yd competition in unlimited class against $5000 rem 700's, my savage 93 22wmr hits a 2x2 steel plate at 200yds all day any misses are my fault not the guns 1moa accuracy out of a $350 package series rifle sweeet

  • Great vid nutn! just wondering, is that an eberlestock? If so, how do you like it?

  • People often dont realise how far a yard is........... Or 500 of them. Nice shooting Nutn, keep it going. I would love to see more full-powered rifle reviews and shoots like this one.

  • Hey nutn who's with you? Is that a female TNPer I hear? Rock on bro!

  • Hey whos with you nutn?

  • ...and it was windy that day...crazy good shooting. Well done.

  • ...and it was windy that day...crazy good shooting. Well done.

  • Wow! Very impressive! If you ever got time I think it would be kind of cool to show a more involved setup like you were discussing with the wind indicators and ballistic calculations. Of course with the way you were nailing 500 yards on that not very stable looking position you might have to bring it out further! I know, time and all, but just a thought for a future video if you ran out of things (right hey!). Thanks!

  • @medadoodie trigger isn't bad I don't think, It's average on pull distance and weight I think. It's overly heavy in my opinion, it just seems to wear you out after awhile shooting it, especially if you practice holster to ready position and if you hold it extended for lengths of time it's pretty front heavy.

  • @BenjiREC No?

    I vote republican, not libertarian.

To prevent flooding this comment board with a low-balling, counter productive arguement, which you seem perfectly intent on already starting, this will be my last comment. Cool your head and just stfu.

  • Ya s'pose the enemy would sit and wait while you put up your wind flags? Just messin with ya. I need to get my Savage out to a longer range! 110 FP Tactical.

  • I am looking for some information on Dominion Arms Grizzly-MAG 12 gauge Shotgun.I haven't found many reviews on it, just people asking about it. It looks like it might be a good alturnative to the sagia 12 but in pump action prices from what I have seen start at 340.00

  • How big was your target? Honestly with good ammo, I have seen those Savages making pretty good hits on 20"x40" steel silhouettes fairly consistantly to 1000yds. You should be able to figure out your windage formulas without a ballistic program too. The .308 Win. can make long shots, you just need to work with the conditions. 500 yards is still easy money for the most part. Try some 168 &175 FGMM and some TAP in the rifle.

  • @medadoodie I've shot my friend's Savage .17 HMR before. The mechanism is similar to a Glock trigger (with the secondary safety trigger) but it's absolutely amazing. Very light, short travel, clean break...just awesome. If this has the same trigger, you'll love it.

  • the majority of law enforcement agencies use the "ballistic inefficient" 308's then :P

  • Great Shooting, Like the target

  • Anyone know what type of 10FP that is? I was about to get a Remington 700, but I've read a bunch of nasties about the new trigger. After seeing this, I'm switching sides and going for the 10FP, but on Savage's website there is no "10FP" - only a 10 FP-SR, though the FP-SR has a threaded barrel... and I don't think Nutn's does.

  • @BenjiREC I donated like $25 some time ago. RON PAUL in 2012... because America is worth it!

  • @BenjiREC Actually he's a libertarian more than anything else. There isn't much of a movement within that party so he became a Republican. As for Fox News, there's a reason I put quotations on the "news" portion of the name. Total garbage propaganda if you ask me.

  • Awesome. A bit of wind too. Good shooting.

  • Awesome. A bit of wind too. Good shooting.

  • @BenjiREC Yeah, and he's also been rejected by the right and left for his political beliefs seeing as he's a libertarian without much support. Have you seen the way Fox "News" treats him, he's a pariah that won't even get passed the primaries. Being constitutionally sound is a very good thing that a lot of politicians need to emulate, but when you look closely at what he believes you'd soon realize he's the antithesis of both parties. It's good and bad thing for sure but that means no support.

  • most beautiful scenery ever

  • By the way, good shooting. I would love to do it too.

  • It isn't too often we see girls in the shoots (well we don't see one here either) but we can hear one in the background. Who is she and will she be in any of the vids you most likely shot for the day of shooting?

  • @medadoodie I'm the same way, That's why generally if the range has a rental or if I know someone with one I'll try to put atleast 500 rounds out of a gun before I buy one like it to make sure i'm going to want to keep it. I made a mistake and bought a L22 pistol from S&W and it's pretty terrible. It's good for many things bu it's not not fun to shoot because it's so heavy, like rediculously heavy for a .22 pistol, especially compared to the other options like the walther.

  • love savage.. i miss my rifle so much, i had to leave it in other country..

  • so want to do this one day

  • RIP lense cover @5:22

  • @JMPMAOF If it's one of those Butler Creek PoS I wouldn't be surprised.

  • @medadoodie If we had unlimited funds he might have done that, but selling the one nearly paid for the other. in this case. I know if I had unlimited funds i'd have me a heck of lot more guns than I do, and I'd of bought 90% of the ones i've shot instead of just the handful I've purchased personally.

  • @medadoodie Oh, and he sold it instead of just leaving the supressor off because for one it looked ugly with threads on the end and nothing there and it was one of his fun guns so he bought another one similar to it but it had a like..brown grass paintjob and he got a nikon coyote scope that matched it, looks nice but i'd be afraid to lose it since it does look exactly like the grass in the open pastures around here.

  • @medadoodie lol, well, he sold it not just tossed it. I know before he put the supressor on it it was a nail driver and was shooting extremely well at 400 yards but then he couldn't even hardly keep a decent group at 100 yards with the supressor on. and we both know the guy that did the threading and put it on, and he's done other guns for us and we even pulled it off and checked it at a machine shop to make sure it was on straight, just something about it being there was just making it wrong.

  • @BenjiREC What does that have to do with this video again? You members of the cult of Ron Paul need to take a chill pill ad realize the man isn't a god that can change the entire political system by himself. I wonder what happened the last time someone campaigned on change...

  • @BenjiREC hell yea man! Ron Paul 2012. the only constitutional choice for prez!!!

  • Have you heard any of RP's economic policies?

  • Whats the optic?

  • who was the women in the background

  • Are you a veteran?

  • I have one of the Savage FP10 in .308 also. I love it, very accurate and nicely built rifle. Great gun for the money!

  • Nutn...you're dialed in!!! Nice shooting!

  • Man that view is beautiful. Nice shooting nutn!

  • that is a beautiful view of those hills with the coulds rollin in. good shooting nutn

  • Not to down play your training any anyway Nutn but your skills behind a weapon are truly remarkable. I know your USAF (Happy Birthday BTW) but lets be honest they didn't train you to be able to do these things. More so with so many different types of weapons. You have some real natural talent. Its too bad flying jets is so damn bad ass because you would have been an outstanding Marine. Having shot this exact same rifle I have to say you had some very nice shots. I like the Savage.

  • Dang Nutn'... That's a nice show of marksmanship!

  • @BenjiREC I prefer Santorum, but congrats on supporting a GOP runner.

  • Nice shooting Nutnfancy! How do you like that Savage?

  • @BenjiREC Hell yeah!

  • Hey Nutnfancy, your not shooting the right way, you gotta hold your breath and move your right foot out more and wear a blue hat lol, JK, just imitating the know it all's on youtube lol

    Nice shootin Tex :)

  • @medadoodie That's an interesting data point. Thanks for sharing.

  • Another great video.

Try 46 gr of Varget under a 155 Sierra Lapua and take that Savage out to 1000 yards.

    :)

  • Pretty cool target :)

  • That's pretty cool Nutn. Now do it with a 20" AR, no optic, and 62gr ball.

  • @MechaRogers Semper Fi

  • @maloso1313 Hooah. I was National Guard, and we did it.

  • The best kind of review. Savage Arms must be awesome. I can't wait to try one.

  • @BenjiREC same here mate!!! Ron Paul r3VOLution!!!

  • Damn good shooting man.... and i thought that my 200 yard shot on an 8 point last year was good... lol

  • i just bought a savage rifle just like yours but it has camo stock. i have not had a chance to shoot it yet. i have to wait on the farmer to get the corn out of his field.

  • chould you imagin 1000 yards gives me a whole new appreciation for snipers

  • @Maddawwg45 Amen, and now days some Marine snipers are capable of over 1500 yards, mind blowing !

  • @HappyJackProduction1 Some? All Marine Snipers. Your basic POG Marine is capable of 500m with irons. Because we know its not the sound of our rifles or the amount of shots you can take. It is the hits that count in battle. OOHRAHH.

  • @HappyJackProduction1 anytime you can take out a target 1/4 mile out is awesome but 1/2 or mile out is amazing of course a good shooting rifle helps build confidence and i have never owned a savge rifle that wasnt moa capable out of the box with the right ammo it likes

  • Another great video, thank you! Also, do you do all your shooting on private land? It's hard to find good places to shoot in Wisconsin, let alone runngun?

  • Got to love Savage rifles! Affordable Accuracy.

  • nice, very cool man

  • Amazing long range hits! Go TNP!_M11

  • Do it. Nice.

  • polymer target?

  • unlike other videos i liked, this is not that impressive...Marines do this yearly with M855 ball (5.56 NATO) using ironsights.

  • @pcramil Yes and while I posted and think the same thing for someone to pick this weapon up today and walk out to a hill and be able to lay lead on target repeatedly is a impressive feat. While 500m is not long enough for you to start calculating earth rotation and humidity or even corkscrew. It is far enough for the average person to point their rifle at the target and say why is my round hitting 3 ft low and 2 feet left Im shooting exactly straight.

  • @maloso1313 ...what?? Please fix your comment. Run on sentences and the lack/misuse of punctuation confuse me.

  • @pcramil Oh Im sorry 3rd grade English teacher. I didn't mean to offend your overly educated pseudo intellectual forum trolling ass. I'm sure when your not wearing your superman outfit and jumping around your mothers garage people find your grading their facebook and you tube posts really funny but I dont. So Im sure this is too confusing for you too so have someone explain using smaller words and gunt noises so you can get a grasp at what I am saying. UGH BAHH OOHH AHH k little buddy.

  • @maloso1313 hahaha. I really had trouble figuring out what you were saying. Read both posts, will ya? Who's the real troll?

  • BCOable: he's got production costs to cover and u ain't helpin. Is it just me or do you look younger nutn

  • Dudemeister whats up with the ads now days. Bro are you goin commercial whats the deal YO!!!!!

  • @BCOable some one has to pay for all this awesomeness

  • Beautiful view!

    Really great shootin' there bro!

  • nice shooting brother!

  • Ily nut dude ride on I was soo looking foward to this and the ruger scout

  • 500 yards? ha what a joke thats just laughable sorry. i once hit a mouse in the eye at ten thousand yards and that was in a blizzard with a snub nose revolver

  • @toomanyfires

    Yeah, whatever. You're so lame.

I once shot a fly off a bull's ass with my NAA MINI revolver at 1700 yards, full value wind at 50 MPH, gusting to 90, with cheap bulk ammo, freezing rain, at night, uphill both ways.

  • @goatmurray good lord

  • @toomanyfires

    I know.

    XD

That was god for a laugh.

  • Dang man, did you used to get some sniping in while not flying the jets?

    That's a heck of a shot!

  • Ihave the Sav. 110Fp in .300 Mag. Great gun but needs to be glass bedded.

  • Impressive and entertaining.

  • ...unless you're willing to shell out at least 1.40 a round.

  • Those shots would be so fun with my rifle, unfortunately 7.62x54r match grade ammo is all but non existent.

  • @Kogasoldier you're talking about a Mosin i'm guessing? If you buy the Brown Bear 203 grain stuff it's good out to 800 yards np

  • ...and with proper ammo I'm sure 1000 wouldn't be a thing for nutn to pull off. And less wind of course.

  • That's a long way... on a small (torso) target, with a quartering wind and an audience... Not easy, folks...!

  • I've had this rifle on my radar for some time now. I love the Savage .308 lineup! I've got a bad itch for a .308, might have to jump on one soon.

  • Excellent long range shooting Nutn! That is an awesome spot to do long range shooting from. It looks like there isn't anything for miles with that view!

  • Its about time you stretch your legs. NOW lets go long range! You could have shot ANY distance at that location.

  • Only 500? Instead of the 200 yard run and guns lets see some super long range stuff, almost 99% of people who shoot guns never get a chance to shoot out to 1000 yards.

  • Got the action target crew with you?

  • pshh.. i can shoot my .22 out to 900 yards effectively with a 25 mph crosswind..... JK great video nutn, i love that scenery there along with the shot echo

  • Safety glasses, please!

  • Would this be a good hunting riffel for a New hunter ?

  • Great view. Love the sound of the rifle as it echos and travels in the valley.

  • Good shot.

  • Got some paper punching comin up w/ that rifle?

  • sometimes i wish i was an american

  • is that a eberlestock backpack you are using there?

    if so. review it!!!

  • Excellent! Nice shooting, nice gun.

  • Cool vid dude. I saw your butler creek flip up cap come off at 5:22- did that hit your face, or your hat? You may need to adjust your eye relief if you're gettin too close. Dont be that guy with the ring around the eyehole.

If you want to really improve your game, consider reloading your ammo, and lots of practice in the wind. Your vids are awasome- keep em coming!!

  • We have bigger mountains and better shooting in Texas.

  • @mantaroy That's cool, post a video of you shooting better and at farther distances. People would love to see it ;)

  • @mantaroy im from TX. your comments are annoying and childish.

  • @karsown Wow. You're from Texas? Most folks here can tell sarcasm. I was being facetious. We have crappy little things for mountains. So what was I saying about the shooting? Y'all have some *seriously* thin skin.

  • @mantaroy Ok fine. But for future reference, sarcasm works best when paired with humor. I detected no humor in your comment, so I assumed you were being serious. This is the internet. I cant read the tone of your voice or catch the subtle wink of your eye.

  • @mantaroy And my dad can beat your dad up. Come on dude, Nutn never claimed to be the best shot or live in the most beautiful place. The vid is what it is, if you don't like it don't watch it. If you have a pointer on long range shooting share it, don't just throw tomatoes from the cheap seats.

  • @The3fingervic I was being facetious. We have crappy little things for mountains. So what was I saying about the shooting? Y'all have some *seriously* thin skin.

  • Too bad, there is no 720p available. That place looks great, especially with all the sunflowers around. Anyhow, good shootin'!

  • Ebelstock pack? I'm jealous... ;-) Good shootin'! My respect for PMC NATO ball just went up. I can imagine double the hits if you had the wind data and a computer (and a more steady front support, I could see you rockin' on the rock, more of a challenge no doubt!).
