I really don't care for capacitive/physical buttons in the bottom of the screen when in portrait and not even a custom skin, so I'll give the Nexus the nod in this one. As for not having a custom skin, I'd rather prefer a stock Google experience. :)

Of course, I do love to have a 5.3" screen, but with a 16:9 version instead of 16:10. That's very nice for the visually impaired.

@SageModeCupcake yes, but it's a nexus. Even if ICS is garbage there are a TON of custom ROMs you can easily flash because it is a dev phone. I've yet to use ICS however i haven't heard any real complaints about it, especially about the smoothness of the OS. I assume you mean the iPhone 4S, when multiple reviewers have said that this phone (nexus) gives the iPhone a run for its money when it comes to fluidity, but it doesn't matter all apple fanboys reject the truth.

Aaron I love seeing the dogfights between latest phones, but I think you need to feel free to express your opinion a bit more. These videos all seem to just run through the specs and features of each phone. After watching the reviews of each, it gets fairly repetitive. Flex your journalistic muscle and make some definitive decisions. Some people might not agree with you, but to hell with 'em.

@rokrpro Well, not necessarily. Have you the opportunity to play with a gnex yet? I was finally able to go see one because I was wondering the same thing and eager for the sprint release. On videos and such you get the full 4.65" and the buttons only appear when you hit the screen to wake it. But other than that, they're always there. I still love the phones, sprints is supposedly better anyways!

The size of these phones are getting ridiculous. I'm not seeing the "choice in different hardware" that other android users stroke each other off about being good about the platform. Like i told the poster above, i think we like the android phones we get so much that we MAKE ourselves accept the higher screen at the sacrifice of pocketability. If these 4.3 inch screens came out in 2007, people wouldn't have liked them because it would've been a radical change. Over time, we're conditioning ourselves to get used to the burden. How big do we want these to get?
