A couple of minor corrections: the first statue after the "Standing Lincoln" that you identify as Grant is, I believe, Ben Franklin (if we have the same statue in mind). And the statue at the south end of the Lincoln Park Conservatory garden is of Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller and not Goethe. The Goethe tribute is at Diversey on the north end of the park. The statue of not of Goethe himself, but a man with an eagle on his leg, but there is a bas-relief behind that statue of Goethe.

Great drive. I haven't been to the zoo in at least 20 years, even though it's right on the 151. You've inspired me. This spring, for sure!
