@pepe1999ish you're right....i just checked the date 'down by the water' by pj harvey, was released. it seems she adapted this beat and melody,,,,and the whispering on her song is just near the end. to me, it is obviously an example of how one hears something,,it gets into your head,,,and you write something using the same shadow of the original. i was right in my first statement...then screwed up when i quickly looked for an answer. this song....DOES pre-date the release.... of her song.
