@snowlionud haha we thats the thing when we play with it only on the rare occasion she will chew it but other that that she has the nose of a blood hound and the determination to get to it when its stashed :)
@snowlionud do you think i can keep a dog like this in the netherlands its cold now but in summer its not hotter than 35 degrees i want a malamute in a few years maybe earlier do you think they wil enjoy in holland xd
@amberhatesthis If you have air conditioning, they'll be fine, but if you keep then as outdoor dogs it might not be the best. She has a winter coat and a summer coat, so generally she does fine, but in the summer she likes to spend more time in the shade and indoors where in the winter she is fine with being outside 24/7.
I love your video and your Mal is just beautiful! (smile) My Mal Timber is almost 4 years old now; born in a Standard Litter, but he has grown to giant size; 30 inches from shoulder to ground, and 140 lbs! He is the only pup this Breeder ever had grow that big,and I was wondering if you knew how often this happens, and why? I am very happy with his size, just wondering how it happen? (grin)
Hi i am doing research on malamute's because i might get one so i have a question what is a diffrenece between an alaskan malamute and a malamute pllzzzz reply
@TehXport I am also interested in one, and so far is pretty much the same, now Alaskan malamute and Siberian husky they're different, the malamute is bigger than husky, but Alaskan malamute and malamute is the same dog
@lengendkeeper2 i prefer malimutes but my auntie has a husky... theyre a lot harder to look after and they like to jump fences and run a lot... my mal is a lot bigger than my friends german shepherds but the husky is a lot smaller so there is a big size difference so if u wanted not a too big dog a husky would be better but they are more harder to look after..the main difference between them is malimutes have big heads, ears are different, broader build and they always have brown eyes
@WomanOFaith It was so strange, at first she wouldn't either, then one day she just started playing and enjoying it. It didn't hurt I started bribing her with treats if she brought it back. Now she'll do it for about 10-15 minutes before she quits, treats or no treats!
@kraljmilke Well, we tried really hard to train our Mal and she is pretty stubborn. Even so, with lots of training she behaves pretty well. She still doesn't listen all the time, but she knows right from wrong.
@g25a25c She usually only catches 3 out of 10 or so. I'll definitely be making another video like this during the winter to show how she has progressed!
my mom had a collie that enjoyed playing frisbee with one of those same 'cloth' frisbees. Was funny seeing your dog shake it around because she would do the same thing with it (like all aggressive). My malamute I had (ie before the collie) wouldnt play catch at all; just looked at it like not do anything... maybe the treat thing you do would of helped ;)
Thanks for watching! Yea, our mal wants little to nothing to do with a frisbee unless there are treats involved. If I didn't have them this would look more like a game of keep away after the 2nd throw.
I'd like to own a Malamute but unfortunately that I'm living in a tropical city....
Better to run on snow , I don't want to bake that cute furry dog.

I get my Aussie the superdog frisbees :) but she chewed it so she doesn't have one now lol

@snowlionud I want to buy a Malamute, but I've heard they can be very stubborn, and now I am afraid that maybe I could not train them well.
P.S. Sorry for really bad english.

2049superman 1 year ago
@2049superman She's 25 lbs shy of being a giant malamute. They count that as 100 lbs+. But she is definitely a lot of dog!
snowlionud 1 year ago
Reminds me of my malamute she would get really excited when it was snowing and also in her younger days she was really good at catching tennis balls
