Why is this myth so popular in America? We have poprocks and, of course, coke, but I've never heard that before in my country.

I suppose if it had not been for the myth, most of the american children would have been addicted to both of them; i.e. fat people everywhere.... Strange myth saved America, although I appreciate their experiment :)
