oooooooh. my dog does that. thats why we cant have stuff like that in the house. dont try and take it from him. he'll bit. And pugs bite HARD!!! really carefull
Bones are bad for Pugs because of the splinters from the bone that can hurt them if they swallow it. They don't have jaws or the facial structure of handle bones like bigger dogs. FYI.
Hahah my pug does the same thing when he's got his toy and the other dogs (Pug/Jack Russel Mix and Shiba Inu) come to investigate... What's even more funny? I don't think he even knows how to bite, one of the sweetest dogs I've ever seen.
I was seriously scared for you life. I mean you don't want a bite from that. My pug Basil was sitting with me while I watched it and he had such a scared look on his little face.
I have a rotweiler that does that too, she is the biggest baby, until you give her a bone. We'd use a stick an inch or so thick to push the bone away from her when she's distracted. But one day she saw the stick and snapped it in half in a single snap of her jaw... I shit myself when that happened.
i have a pug named trixie and when she gets food she makes the same face and growls.. I call it the "panda face" cause its cute but, if you get close they'll tear your face off :D
We had a Pekingese that did the same thing when we would give him a pork chop bone. He wouldn't let you near him. There was not a sign of meat anywhere on the bone when he was done. We would have to wait a couple hours till he was done, then call him into a room, then get the bone we he wasn't looking.
Our pug does that, too. I think bones have a way of bringing the carnivorous instinct out in them or something. I personally think it's cute. Lamb and beef bones are the only type I would give a pug, but they get pork chops, too.
She's a cutie. Cooked pork and chicken bones can be dangerous for dogs because they splinter when chewed and can cause cuts inside the digestive tract. I've heard that raw chicken and pork bones aren't dangerous, but then you get into other dangers feeding them raw meat. Boiled or thoroughly cooked beef bones are safest.
My pug used to this but it was when I gave him one of those 'greenies'. He NEVER bit me though...just growled and ran away with it in his mouth :) LOLOL
omg! i hav a baby pug too, and he never acts like tht! but then againn, we never gave him a pork chop! he loves cheese and chicken, and tunaa! maya is sucha cutiee! good luckk(:
You did something to piss her off. Leave her alone ):

You should not encourage that type of behavior by tormenting the dog. They can become aggressive in other activities too.
countryboyaml 10 months ago
why would you tolerate that. Train it!
