crawl, DIC954, and クライマーズ ハイ (Climber's High-that's what it translates to on google xP) are definitely my faves from Veltpunch. they make me feel like having the time of my life pretending to swim on the ground wearing a bunny head and dumping ketchup on a CD. xD but, i'm surprised no one has thought of it yet: I think this video is about their high school days and what they were like in high school or what life was like or something... xP just a thought. love this vid (even the lesbians~JK!)

this band is quite similar to baseballbear, and a little bit AKG.

i see some similarities in style, but i personally think VP and AKFG blows BBB out of the water. BBB is way more power pop than anything else. VP mixes in a broader range of elements i think. no two VP songs sound exactly alike, which i dig in a band.

haha the protagonists facial expressions are hilarious. so basically i think the video is about the distortion of childhood innocence in the later years of school (junior high through high school). like when seeing your peers do things which you hadnt even thought of doing yet. at that point in your life, seeing such things are albeit foreign and strange to you, and in a lot of ways can kind of mess you up as being able to identify with yourself and your own maturity. i dunno, just an idea.

Good one man! This song is almost a later years of school guy narrative. Saying about the trash that the world around him have become. New habits, new ways, all diferent. but he still in a clumsy dance(I believe that is the innocent way).
