Ok Duke has 2 seniors on their team and North Carolina doesnt have any, so im not surprise Duke cameback to win. Ok Duke has 2 seniors on their team and North Carolina doesnt have any, so im not surprise Duke cameback to win. UNC mostly plays freshman and sophomores so duke should be worried down the road when they play again at North Carolina. GH was very good at Detroit, and AVERAGE everywhere else. He averaged 17.8 points a game career...and there are many in that category in the NBA( <20 avg..career) But even that was skewed. He played 4 games one season, 14 & 21 another, etc... & I know he was hurt. BTW, NBA All Star are voted in by fans.

@mssrimati - Last season, Duke & UCLA were tied with 14 players each in the NBA. UNC had 13. This year's draft had Henson (UNC), so UNC is in a 3 way tie. That could change if Zoubek or Sheyer (both undrafted) makes a roster, but my money says no because they suck. I would like to look that up one day on the Duke combined NBA salaries vs. UNC. My money, once again would be on UNC. When I looked at the top eaners list, didn't see any Duke players on that list.....Carter was on it though.

Grant hill in his prime was a 21 point scorer, 49% shooter, 7rpg, 6.5 apg guy. thats better than haywood, carter, stack, green (who hasnt even played..JJ redick plays more than green and hansbrough). @dmun5587red123 - Grant Hill, when he started the NBA, was solid, but what has he done since he started at Orlando.....look at the number of games played. Grant Hill was supposed to be the next Jordan in the day...how did that work out? Just as I thought, average. The funny thing is Grant Hill is probably the best NBA player that Duke has ever produced. All others are just average. Look at NBA Champs, H.O.F., etc. and then compare both schools...then, let me know what u find out.

Some freshman who doesn't seem to have any intelligence at all and will probably be riding the bench for a lot of the year won't make him look foolish. The Final Four MVP on the otherhand will make Bullock look like the freshman he is if Roy Williams is dumb enough to put Bullock on him.

West Virginia (who Duke destroyed) won the Big East tournament and beat "powerhouse" Kentucky (also should have been the #1 seed over Duke according to many experts). Butler was a scrappy team that had already beaten #1 seed Syracuse and Michigan State. Yeah, they beat no one. I guess they didn't have 8 McDonald All-American talents like NIT runner up UNC, but they were a hard-working team that played together. Keep spewing your nonsense, hater.

@TitansChamps2008 - Baylor? Most people? Whatever dude. WVU was the only real competition Duke played. Baylor was good, but highly overrated. Same with Butler. Those two, like Duke, rely on the 3 point shot too much. Duke won the tourney fair and square....but luck was on their side. Admit it or not, it is the truth. If Duke had played a Kansas or KY, they would have been destroyed and you know it. All it takes in the NCAA is one bad night and your season is done. Duke can relate to that.

It's also very funny to me the whole NIT thing you say. You Duke pinheads always like to point fingers but never look at the 4 times coach K didn't even make it into the tourney.1 of which was an early exit in the NIT. UNC at least lost 85% of their scoring from the previous year and people that generally didn't start were put in a starting position. Also take in account the injuries of 7 players throughout the season. What was Duke's excuse? Bad back or hip? Too funny. Duke sucks.

I didn't say he was dying, but look at him....he looks tired and exhausted. He took a leave of absence in 95 with back surgery and exhaustion, that was 15 years ago. Trust me, the time is coming my friend, pretty soon. Tick tick tick tick. Roy has 15 years or so left...K...less than 5.

So when he passes Dean and Knight, the thought of retiring will hit him like a brick. Roy will not retire the same time as K......get that out of your head. "K" will pass Dean and Knight in all-time wins, then, he will retire. Roy will pass them all. If Roy maintains a 28 win average for 15 more years.....it's over dude.....K is good, but will be passed. When he is around 70, he'll call it quits. Besides Roy has been a head coach for 22 years and has 618 wins. Coach K has 868 in 35 years. Roy has 15 years or so left. No evidence, just opinion.

I believe your numbers are off there, chief....go to the UNC/Duke Rivalry page on Wikipedia, then look down where it says "Series Facts" and under that where it says "Mike Krzyzewski is 34-35 vs. North Carolina".....once again, it's fact.
I'm not on here to say Duke had a bad program, I'm here to say that UNC is better overall, especially during Coach K's reign at Duke.
