Actually not all roman candles shoot out stuff, but most do so it would have made a better video to show us one that did. Also, most roman candles that shoot out stuff are o.k. to hold because the bottom 1/3 is filled with clay (which doesnt burn and has no chance of burning your hand). although i still recommend holding it away from your body cuz there is always a chance it could explode, although ive shot many a candle and never had a problem
