i have an amazon parrot and she eats out of my dads mouth(i think its groose)...thats dads for ya
birds carry diseases, and it would really suck if it pooped in her meal that i am sure you wouldnt want to remake

We got the bird from someone else who likley raised it from a baby. Yes, I was worried the bird would poop on her head, in her food and everywhere else - and I also worried she would accidentally harm the bird. Luckily, none of that happened and I have this funny little video of her! The video was taken when she was 15 months old. She is now 15 YEARS old! :-) She grew up just fine (bird poop in her food or not!)
