  • There'a a very telling bit of footage, from when JFK was in Ft. Worth that morning. JFK, LBJ, Connally, and Yarbrough all walk up onto this platform. LBJ's got a shit-eating grin on his face. He's smiling, but it's not a nice smile. Yarbrough looks fine. JFK is smiling, but there's some apprehension there. Right after he gets up on stage, he turns around and looks at a Secret Service agent, who nods and smiles at him. Connally looks TERRIFIED. He gets up on stage and looks around, nervously.

  • George Herbert Walker Bush had no connections to the CIA till 1976. You know what a bunch of crackpots and loons who want to link GHWB to JFK assassination. You know it is all projection on the part of people who want to think the worst of their government. There are more conspiracy theories about the JFK assassination than there are states and state capitals together. People want to believe the worst about their government. I don't doubt there are some pretty bad apples but get real will you.

  • @tacikcim - LOL, yeah, GHW Bush just became CIA director ON A WHIM in 1976. No further qualifications necessary! What a faggot shill you are.

  • Connelly cried out that day during the shooting. He yelled, "My God! They're going to KILL US ALL"

  • Why was JFK ambushed?

Why did Bush & the CIA kill JFK?

Because JFK stopped the invasion of Cuba.

I am a veteran of the invasion of Cuba.

Geo Bush was my commanding officer.

I can prove Bush, Nixon, Hunt & Artime killed JFK.

Time to arrest Bush for the ambush of JFK.

There is no statue of limitations on murder.

    Jail Bush.

  • There is a theory that he did the last blow to JFK's head... Gun in left hand hidden under his hat. Watch closely. A close range shot that forcefully blows JFK's head open and jolts him back into his seat. Connally was a former lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy...

  • watch the video again when he turns ,hes looking straight at kennedy, and in his first interview he says he turned to his left

  • I was a little boy living in Dallas and my parents and I drove down town that day right after oswald was killed.

  • what a bad liar, seems he enjoyed it

  • Yes, he enjoyed being shot and almost dying

  • yeah especially nearly dying from bieng shot

  • its more comforting/comfortable to believe a lone nut shot kennedy..god forbid there were/are elements in our government who would do evil deeds to further a political agenda...thats impossible..

  • HBO will put on a 10 part mini-series probably in November showing that Oswald killed JFK alone.

Unfortunately, that's not true. Kennedy was killed by Lyndon Johnson with the evidence alteration done by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. Hoover was rewarded by being made FBI Dir for life.

LBJ stayed out of jail when he became President.

  • The black and white interview with Connally is actually taken from the 9-27-64 CBS special

the night the Warren Report was released. Sweetcheeks, you have my sympathy. Unfortunately,we have sick people in this world who want to blame everyone but Oswald for the murder of JFK and the wounding of your relative, John Connally.

  • He had nothing to do with it. Im related to him. My Grandfather told me the story. My name is Ralinda Louise Connally. My Grandfather is Lucian Raymond Connally. John Didnt do anything. You people are so lame.

  • John was a fine and decent man. A fondly remembered Governor, as is his wife Nelly. He was a brave man that experienced first hand one of the most horrific and dreadful events in American history, and survived. You must feel very proud SweetCheeks.. I know I would be.

  • @SweetCheeks25 I know it was quite a while ago that you left these comments but I just want to respond and let you know that I was really very impressed with Gov. Connally, most especially in this interview. He comes across as a salt of the earth decent sort of man it would have been a priviledge to know.

  • wow this man is so guilty of something it eats away at him even in this film..he would rather assume that he had been fatally wounded and check 4:50 "so constantly there was going through my mind thoughts of.. of what youve done" hes refering to himself..it ate him up to be involved in this conspiracy,he was ashamed.

  • Right... he was involved in a conspiracy to shoot the president while he and his wife were riding in the exact same car! Why would anyone be so stupid as to risk themselves like that? There are plenty of safer ways to create an alibi.

  • well youre the one who said he was involved in the shooting,im saying he knew more than what he said on film

  • @NecessaryTruths There's a little bit more to this than you know. LBJ did not want Connally to ride in the presidential limo. There was an arguement the night before between JFK and LBJ about where Sen.Yarbarugh and Gov.Connally about which car Gov.Connally would ride in. LBJ wanted Sen.Yarbarough( whom he did not like) to ride in the same limo with JFK. LBJ wanted Gov.Connally to ride with him in his protected limo.

  • @NecessaryTruths you cant rule out that he did chang his story, and the way alibis go, getting shot with the prez, and not dying does clear your name.

  • To Semigod- What an unbelievable response to a piece of history we are extremely lucky to have on film. Thank goodness Connelly survived and what a wonderful interview. This man thought he was dying and in extreme pain. He shared the thoughts of family and what he had done with his life(like any normal human). The retelling of something, that profound, brought a tear to his eye and you construe this as guilt? Good luck with personal relationships if you misread your fellow human beings that badly.

  • the lying connely and his murdering friends are no human beings and good luck with your personal relationships when some one tells you a magic bullet can dance around the presidents body..take off the blinders suesue

  • @Suesuetube I know your comments are from two years ago but I just want to say a hearty "hear, hear" to them. People are just stupid about this event, and insist on projecting their present day prejudices onto the innocent bystanders and even victims.

  • I'm pretty sure he was refering to what people say "life flashing before my eyes".

  • Again If Oswald was such a crack shot how in the hell did the bullet hit the guy at the overpass about 500 yards in front of the Limo?

  • The quality of the video is really excellent-best I've seen. Well done!

  • Connally's account matches the Zapruder film exactly and is not consistent with the single bullet theory. He first reacted to the SOUND of a gunshot, then started to turn toward his left when he was hit. The film clearly shows this. Both men struck by the same bullet? No way!

  • Yep he says himself the 1st shot did not him, then the 2nd one did and we all know 1 shot missed and hit the curb. Then the final head shot from the grassy knoll makes 4 shots.

  • QUE DOIDERA!

  • There are several theories. One of the theories i come up with is that kennedy got hit from the front (grassy knoll) or towards the bridge. Conelley then gets hit from behind from either at lower level on the depositry or records building and the second between and then a third shot hits kennedy in the back. that one but I dont see any real evidence at that particular time that he was it ithe back. I will need to keep researching.

  • They all had to come from the back as his car was out in front alone. Not only that, but no one else (but Connally) was hit.

  • tricky question is where did that bullet from behind that hit kennedy come from and when. Several option which could be plausable. I dont see realistic evidence in the film to say that he was hit in the back when the first lot of shot were.

  • continued.

I still beleive that the first shot came from the front and may be a second shot hits kennedy in the back. Connellys hit I still believe that it came from 2nd shot from the record building or may be at a lower level in the depositry building.

  • you can actually see if you look carefully that conalley hold his right arm right after the bullet hits the wrist.

  • Continued

That is the force of the bullet pushing the right shoulder forward with his wrist in the way which explain that the bullet penetrated his wrist in the process of exiting his right side of rib cage under the right nipple.

  • i would like to make a to my recent comment Correction. I said that connallys wrist had been hit then the second shot.

If you look at the film he will actually see that he's left hand side jumps back and the right side moves forward where the bullet enters.

  • About quarter of a second after that or less kennedy gets it from the front in the throat. As you can see jackie is looking at connally when he get hit the second time and doesn't know what has happened. Notice the way conally is sitting before the first shot he is sitting at a right angal.

  • if you watch the zapruder film, connelly actually get hit first with a blow to the wrist and then you'll see his face change when he gets it in the back.

I believe the shot comes from a center back building like the record building.

  • I like to reply to my own comment and correct now I have looked and zoomed in that kennedy was the first one to get hit by a sniff. The time of when he get it his before he reached th stemmons sign. you can see his hands just starting to reach for huis throat.

  • I was five...I remember...I still grieve...and always will.

  • The first shot missed. That is the shot Connally is talking about. The second shot hit both men at the same time. You can see that if you watch the Zapruder Film. Kennedy is behind the sign but Connally has emerged and you see his jacket puff out.

  • He states that he heard the first shot and turned around. The first shot missed both men. He is turning around again when he and JFK are both hit with the same shot, the second shot. Then he says he distinctly heard the third shot.

  • If the first shot missed ,why is JFK holding his throat before Connally turns around?

  • So Connally just destroyed the single-bullet theory?

  • How do you figure?

  • because he said he wasn't hit by the same bullet.

  • I agree with you. Connelly said he heard a shot and turned around so at that point he wasn't hit. In the movie you see kennedy's hands making for his throat at the same time. Then Connelly said he felt a blow which was the second shot. The third shot hit Kennedy in the head. Four bullets in total as one missed.
