  • rm 125 all the way!!!!!!

  • u r slow tyler

  • @motocross4life396 Who is Tyler?

  • i like your whips man! what do you have done to your bike? i have an 01 rm125

  • after veiwing this i wanna helmet cam. i like the side view, instead of the traditonal top view. gives a better point of perspective.

  • ur name beaver

  • i dont know if i should get a rm125 or a rm250 i weigh 96-100kg and am on a ttr230 currently

  • I HAVE THAT SAME GEAR

  • That track looks like fun, mann i cant wait to sell my exc 250 and get a 125 it will be soo goodd, your a good rider how long have you been riding?

  • @sammk99874

Thanks man, but I was beyond rusty here. I started riding at age 4, but didn't get into racing until much later. Then life took over, so now I'm just trying not to lose my speed.

  • Hey man I'm lookin for a bike and i weigh a 159 lbs and 5:7 would 125 work or a 250 , what do u think I should get?

  • @atvrider43 If you're a new rider I would definitely go with the 125. Or a 250 4 stroke if you can afford one.

  • @zook62 I can afford one, but why 250 4 stroke, is the 2 stroke too fast or what.

  • @atvrider43 Well i'm sure you know that 2 strokes make more power than 4 strokes of equivalent engine size... in general... but the reason I say buy the 4 stroke is that they have a much smoother power delivery. 2 strokes are very ON/OFF. 4 strokes are not.

  • @zook62 dpnt go 4 stroke they teach you bad habits like engine braking and take way more matinace than a 2 stroke you can basicly drive a 2 stroke till you run out of gas or it dies but a 4 stroke you need to change your engine oil every so many hours

  • @Fffffft65 1. Engine braking is a characteristic of a 4 stroke engine, not a bad habit. 2. If you keep up with a 4 stroke they are not as bad as many people make them out to be. If you're that worried, put SS components in the head and be done with it. 3. You can ride anything til it runs out of gas or dies... 4. You have to add approx 16 ounces of premix to 5 gal of gas in a 2 stroke (40:1), which easily offsets the cost of frequent oil changes in a 4 stroke. Any other ingenious comments?

  • what gear r u in out of the turns?

  • Either 2nd or 3rd. Most of them are 3rd with some clutch. Only the really tight ones make me drop to 2nd.

  • good ridin man!!!

  • do you like your cr or your rm better?

  • Honestly I like this rm better. We're comparing 125 to 250, but since this 125 is built to all hell it runs as good or better than that 250 and handles quite a bit better.

  • Wow awesome track and bike man, I red you're 6 foot 3, right? You still fit on that 125?!

  • Haha yea it's got giant bar risers and lowered foot pegs, so it's actually pretty comfortable

  • what mods do you have done to that rm? flat out hauls man. Is it big bore or anything?

Thanks and awesome vid man, i was thinking about some v-force reeds for my 03, you have them? big difference in performance?

  • It's got basically everything done to it, but as for the motor...

-144 big bore built by Eric Gorr

    -Wiseco Pro Lite Piston

    -Ported

    -Milled Head

    -Pro Circuit pipe and silencer

    -Vforce 3 Reeds

Just to give you an idea, I weigh 190# without gear on and it hauls me around this well. Awesome bike!

  • sounds like a sweet bike. Thanks for all the answers and the response to my comment about the 250. MInes just got a +2.00mm over piston, pipe and silenncer, i was gunna send my bike out to Eric gorr and get it ported and polished and maybe bored out but i just robbed my bank do to cracking the crankcase, ha. How big of a difference did the reeds make? i think i might get a v force reed cage instead of port and polish.

  • The thing to remember is the port job will change the power curve as well as increase peak power, whereas the reeds simply clean up the existing powerband. I think both are important. For a 2 stroke though, I'd chose the port job over throttle response. 2 strokes respond well to begin with.

  • very true, thanks for the input.. Was there an increase in maintnance with the port and polish?

  • No neither the port & polish or reeds will increase maintenance. The prolite piston and head work will though. Theoretically the big bore shouldn't increase maintenance, but since the nikasil coating usually isn't as good as factory.. they can end up being more costly. But not much.

  • allright, thanks for all the help.

  • No problem man. Message me if you ever have any more questions.

  • ur pretty good, i get my first bike soon XD. i've rode lots before on my friends rmz250. ima get a Kx250 or RM250 2 stroke

  • omg r u in tucson???

  • Yea, why?
