Therefore, alhamdulillah as a result, i even stopped music...alhamdulillah it gives ur imaan a huge boost if u are patient....you are able to learn very fast and much more.

if the producer does not mind to have it for free then no problem, logical enough i guess... if not, it is as taking something without paying for it... but music is haram in general... whether we pay for it on not... but technically to take it without paying is wrong as well... may Allah guide us to what is good always...

Brother, I can see where your coming from but what is wrong with having a nationality. I know that all of us should be muslim first and I go 100% with that, but we were made into peoples and tribes so that we may come to know each other.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) explained the verse that says you can beat your wives. He said you can hit them with a maswak, which is a little twig used to clean your teeth, about as light as a feather. So basically, this "beat" is realy a light tap with a toothbrush. Peace.
This verse was revealed during the battle of Uhud, yes in Islam you are ordered to fight the enemy and strike at them in the battlefield with your best, after all you are in the battle, what are you supposed to do!! this verse is by no means a blanket order, it only applies in the battlefield and while fight who is fighting you.
My question was if "cutting the necks and fingers of the unbelievers" was in the Quran. You said no. Now you are saying that verse was revealed during the battle of Uhud. When they say beating a wife in Islam I think people get confused because of the word "beating". We are conditioned to believe that "beating" comes with punches, kicks, bloody noses, etc. With all due respect to the other religions outside of Islam, the "beating" of the muslim woman/wife is only like that of a touch to a baby's bottom. A muslim husband is not allowed in Islam to leave bruises, draw blood, leave any type of marks on a wife's body or treat her with harshness.

i love Jesus more than i love my parents...because he is a prophet of Allah...he is no son of god....tell me something...you believe God is 1...yet you believe he has a son..which means there are 2 gods...the bible contradicts itself and is full of mistakes.
you believe God is almighty...yet you believe he created the world in 6 days then had to rest the 7th day...why does god need to rest if he is allmighty?

Ohyeah.Then how come he is in bible.Read Isiah40.and ill give u the other Chapter and Verse..where in original Hebrew was Mohammmadin (the praised on) and ur people translated his name into the comforting one..translating his name..am on my way to work right now..but ill give it when i get back...the prophet who will speak not from his own but the word of God and is illeterate..read ur old testament..or check out yusuf estes on youtube..a former preacher now muslim.May Allah forgive you.Peace.

The last 3 postings refer to the ROMAN Catholic "church" NOT Christians. God's Word the Bible states that the Creator is a Triune being; "There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Quran talks about the sun spinning on its axis and in constant motion, and the galaxies too are in motion. Match that. Incidentally i think Abdul Basit is Egyptian, but that doesn't matter because he is muslim before any nationality. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) explained the verse that says you can beat your wives. He said you can hit them with a maswak, which is a little twig used to clean your teeth, about as light as a feather. So basically, this "beat" is realy a light tap with a toothbrush. Peace.

This verse was revealed during the battle of Uhud, yes in Islam you are ordered to fight the enemy and strike at them in the battlefield with your best, after all you are in the battle, what are you supposed to do!! this verse is by no means a blanket order, it only applies in the battlefield and while fight who is fighting you.

My question was if "cutting the necks and fingers of the unbelievers" was in the Quran. You said no. Now you are saying that verse was revealed during the battle of Uhud. You knew it was there but you preferred to lie. Or did you think since the verse was revealed during the Uhud war, it somehow disappeared from the Quran?

i dont really know were you ppl hear such things, mostly not true, except for beating the wives, yes you are allowed to beat her (only gently), but only after she did something big not for no reason and you should talk to gently 3 times (i think) amd reason b4 doing that. most of the cases are culture than relegion really. and muslims and non-muslims have been living in harmony at the time of our prophet

When they say beating a wife in Islam I think people get confused because of the word "beating". We are conditioned to believe that "beating" comes with punches, kicks, bloody noses, etc. With all due respect to the other religions outside of Islam, the "beating" of the muslim woman/wife is only like that of a touch to a baby's bottom. A muslim husband is not allowed in Islam to leave bruises, draw blood, leave any type of marks on a wife's body or treat her with harshness.
