eh dude, i was expecting more two handed tapping, some worked some didnt, over all i thought it was pretty good. a little too flashy. like the whole holding the guitar up and doing the hammers and pulls, i mean it didnt sound good, only half of it sounded clean. the tapping you did do sounded good, didnt match to well, but was good nonetheless. overall id give it an 8 out of 10 on the coolness. a little practice and you would really be onto something man!!!

Your right...theres nothing to argue. He played in the tuning he wished to improvise in and thats just that. Maybe he was experimenting with a custom tuning. Fact is that he recorded in the tuning he did and thats what he meant to do.

It is not about easy to play or not, but its about how after improvising how well you stay true to the original sound. Scott's version, you cannot even relate to the original score at all. Very confusing sound. Talented man yes, but if it is not his original score if he improvise at least leave some related sound to it. Sorry just an opinion.

I respect your opinion... Mind you my guitar was a little out of tune in that cause of my floyd rose, but its more or my interpretation of what Clint Mansell's song requiem for a dream makes me feel. In my opinion, the other one you guys are talking about just takes the same song and plays the notes in the original song with a few runs that are quick and in the same scale.

In conclusion, I would say his is more of a solo in the sense that someone is just soloing over the song, while mine is an interpretation of the song which in turn created a new song. Therefore I have called it "Rockuiem for a Dream" instead of "Requiem," and thats why there are parts that don't sound like the original piece. Glad I could clear that up:)

Yeah I can do the dime squeals on it..but not all the time. Its hard to get accurately and you have to know how to do it. However, I can get a similar squeal by doing a simple pinched harmonic and messing with the FR.

Furthermore: If you are going to buy a guitar with a floyd rose... Make sure you know how to change the strings, tune it, and ajust spring tension. Learning all this is annoying, I found out the hard way lol.

Thanks.. its actually a Schecter Hellraiser FR .. the FR standing for Floyd Rose tremelo system.. The only custom things I added where Q Parts Black Pearl Dome Knobs and the Fretboard Light on the head stock. Also I made my own spring system in the back after the video on the tremelo system so it never goes out of tune and is much easier to change strings and bend, but that I did myself so you cant get that in shops but you can get the Schecter C-1 FR at Gutar Center or Musicians friend.
