its true ferrari have lost the wow factor, many used to turn there heads 180 degrees but now its just a quick glance and thats it. post 355 theres not much to talk about. there are better super cars out there, i been looking at the new aston martin, both look well build and well engineered but this is comming from a guy who is still in love with the testarossa. BEST LOOKING CAR EVER
That's the new 612 Scaglietti, which shoule be named Mille Miglia. According to my source inside Ferrari, it will have a fastback coupé design, to improve interior space while keeping a great mass distribution from the mid-front engine.
The V12 will be at least 630bhp, and the gearbox will be the double clutch one used on the F458.
It will have an AWD system that works till around 100mph. Ferrari is using the Continental GT as a reference, but adding the race spirit you don't get on Bentleys.
@iiSkyRocket i was making a point, anyone could have said that, like no shit its gonna have at least 630 hp when the newest ones have more, and they wouldn't downgrade their current standard to a single clutch, everything he said is pretty obvious we dont need an "inside source" to tell us that...and ya if you took it as a joke it does suck bit
You knew about the fastback or hatchback design? The AWD ? I assume not, cos I learnt it from someone inside ferrari. If I know that, it's because I've owned Ferraris for many years, and got friends with some important people at the factory.
@KARLNYSE uh huh sure, owned ferraris for many years? your profile says you are 17 dipshit, and there has been news and rumors that says it will have those specs...
@KARLNYSE haha why did you remove your comment? you dont drive a 458 italia at age 17 and this isnt facebook. and there plenty of exotic cars around where i live too but that doesnt mean anything...
LEAVE MY COMMENT, THANK YOU. I wanted to modify it cos I wrote facebook instead of youtube, but thanks for posting it back.
When i said i've been used to seeing Ferraris, I meant we've always had some. Sorry if you misunderstood, my English isn't perfect.
As I told you, i don't care whether you believe me or not. All i'm telling you is i have a learner's permit, known as AAC in France, and I drive a 458 Italia . I could send you photos, but I don't think it's worth doing it.
@KARLNYSE haha if you are the kind of frenchy jackass to brag about having a 458 italia on youtube, youde be putting pics up everywhere. case and point you dont have 1, if you did you would put pics up because it only takes about 2 minutes...and you only have your learners? at age 17? thats a bit late
@KARLNYSE your reply "I took a shortcut, I personally don't own any, but I've been used to seeing ferraris around at home for 17 years...
Now believe me or not, call me whatever you like, I don't give a damn, cos I'm the one driving a 458 Italia here, and what i've said about the new 612 is not BS,
I think it's sad each time we post comments on fb there are assholes who can't shut up and just think of writing useless comments." just thought ide put it up here
@svdlmf I agree with you, but Ferrari wants to beat the Bentley Continental GT, and adding AWD is a real plus for the car. Especially that the system would go off, and would use a central diff to give most of the torque to rear tyres in normal conditions. Look at Lambo Murcielago, the feelings are close to RWD...
I checked, and I´m 99% sure it´s a V10, mid engine, the profile remebers me the testarossa more than a Maranello, also it´s the logical evolution step to provide a market rival to the awrome Audi R8.
@DuaneBarryYV it doesn't sound like a V10..more like a V12 ! And it is clearly front-engined, just look at the distance between the front tires and the doors..
Central engine, sounds like a V10, or at leas isn´t a V12, seems an update for the 458 Maranello or the Re-Birth of the Testarossa F5?? (assuming a V10).
@DuaneBarryYV central engine ? lol, have you checked the distance between the front tires and the doors ? that can only mean one thing: the engine is in the front !
@tarikghattas it could be a replacement for the 612 Scaglietti, because if you see at 0:04 there seems to be plenty of room behind the driver for a pair of seats fit for a person (i agree small person, but nonetheless...).
Also isn't the C-pillar a bit too far back, for it to be a 2 seater?
this is the new Scaglietti replacement not the 599. I heard someone say the new scaglietti will have a front end that looks similar to the 458 italia except it will be wider.

@KARLNYSE all was right until you got to the AWD part...ferrari doesn't do AWD, and "your source inside ferrari" should have known that !

my vote is a mule for the 599 replacement, or 612 scaglietti but more so the 599 cause i would assume the 612's replacement would be longer.

It's not mid engine'd, its OBVIOUSLY front engine. Why would you make a mid engine car that has a long front hood and almost like a hatchback?

it cant be an 612 since that one is a 4 seater... its more likely a 599 than a 612 and its a front med engine...
