@oldtexasmusic No problem Marcus, after all these years of listening to Tom T,I thought I heard all of his songs but never heard Bill Monroe for--and also Old five and dimers---thanks again, also I've been searching for Tom's--back when we were young-- so far no luck,Eric.
Hi,Bill Munroe was one of my early introductions to Bluegrass not long ago,and along with other Bluegrass legends won me over to ''discovering'' Bluegrass and it's magical music properties and the fabulous violin[fiddle] and mandolin I could have Bluegrass for breakfast.
Tom T Hall really captures the way life was way back then.
Thanks for posting and reminding us of Country living and country folk.
ps: my computer still playing up but i don't think it's really to blame, i think the culprit must be YT cause all our computers are playing up. All my subsiptions, friends & subscribers dissappeared last night or only 2-3 showed up. I was so upset.
A great song by a true Kentucky gentleman...

@pastore0506 Tom T could write excellent lyrics and many of his songs do not require a band but he has a good one when he needs it.

@BABSINUK Tom T Hall, in my opinion, is a legend when it comes to telling a story that has so much to say, and yet say it in a few lines of a song.
