Got this in late 70s sat down and smoked a pipe, it got me . Played it the other day  after a pipe. still gets me, Sadly the changes have not happened. Keep the spirits strong.

Your historical critique is *spot on*, m8..

I had both of XIT's Motown LP's as a kid...and their music was far more sociopolitically relevant than that *other* Native American band, Redbone ("Come And Get Your Love"..Ugh!)

By the way, XIT leader Tom Bee...whilst at Motown, also wrote for and/or performed with Diana Ross, The Jackson 5ive (featuring Michael Jackson), Smokey Robinson, and Mike Campbell, amongst others.
