some great stuff, the DIY Park was some of my favorite, crazy gaps and stuff. OVerall 5/5. Do some more grabs maybe. BUt no christ airs cause their stupid.

I can't stand christ airs either. The DIY park was all for fun. Sometimes it's fun to let loose and do crazy shit like that on Skate. Thanks for the props!

It's a good place, there's a nice gap to curb, some nice wedges, rails and manual pads. It practically has it all.

well you did realistic tricks, but you didn't do them all realistically. a couple looked sick, like the heel front nose, though.

They just announced Skate 2 on the Skate website and they don't have a release date set yet. I'm betting on a 2009 release. Let's hope that we don't have to wait any longer than that.

Indeed, it is an incredible game. I'm really hoping that when they make Skate 2 that maybe this time we can actually get off of the board so we can set tricks up a bit better. It's pretty much my only gripe. A lot of people complain about the absence of flatland tricks, but I don't really care about them. Hell, Rodney Mullen is the only guy keeping up those tricks anyways.

and Mullen is doing a damn good job of it too. but I agree the lack of flatland tricks doesn't really bother me because it would add a sense of complexity that is definitely not needed and would make the game less user-friendly which is bad for sales.. which is why it most likely will not be added into the game. getting off of the skateboard on the other hand is a great idea can be really user friendly and is perfect for a realistic game. I hope they do it too.

He's definitely keeping up the good work. I have mad respect for Rodney, and always will. It if wasn't for him, we wouldn't have a lot of the tricks we have today.

Yeah! You're like an ultra-realism nerd. I think that park footy at the end was fun and you can't mess around with the nose manny on that wall, that's pure skill and hard practice. Wa Da Ta My Damie, Wa Da Ta.

hey i got a question for all the skate owners. does the games get old and boring after like a week or does it just keep getting funner and funner? cause im gonna get this game

I guess it just depends how into Skateboarding you are. For me, I can't go out and skate like how I used to when I was a lot younger ... I'm cursed by old age! Haha. Skate is the closest thing there is to a virtual simulator of skateboarding. I've had it for some months now and I still never get tired of it. There's new spots that I discover almost everytime I play it, it's a pretty big game.
