I clicked on this because I saw you had been trained in dance by Lauri Peters. I wanted to ask you a few questions about her, as I am writing a paper about her. But I felt so sad after watching your video of your dear precious Mum. She was lovely. You all look so happy. I too lost my Mum in 2000 and never a day goes by when I don't think of her. 4/1/10 I walked into the local ER because I had a cough and pains in my ribs. I was put in a medically induced coma for 3 months. My 3 sons were told I would most likely pass and as a single mother it left them to deal with all the medical decisions for me. When I was brought out of the coma I was told I had stage 4 multiple myeloma. One oncologist was willing to try chemo. 8 mnths later I was sent home. Your video made me cry because I understand your loss. My doctor calls me a miracle.

i feel your pain , my mother passed august 21,2010,,,,on a 14 year battle , she was going thru a second transplant (10 yeaars apart),,,we started a video journal on my yotube ch.....stopped in middle of process , things werent going as i wanted..made it hard,,just closed it with a tribute..GOD BLESS

@ElizaDay66 I'm so sorry for your loss, friend, but i have to say that that's kind impressive, 17 years with that non-sense disease...my grandma was diagnosed 3 monts ago, and now she is in intensive care with pneumonia on a critic state, doctors said that just a miracle could save her, i'm so sad....i'll miss her so....):

@dmsmith57 thank you and I"m sorry about your diagnosis. My mom was diagnosed 17 years before she died. A lot can happen in 17 years. Hopefully there will be a cure soon.

My mom passed at 1:10 am this morning from MM. one day they are here talking and laughing and the next they are gone. Hard ending to a hard fight from hard illness. my prayers are out to you.

@cadavercity I am sorry. Know that you're not alone. It's been 2.5 years and I still miss my mom so much. She was shorter than me and always smelled of Ponds cream. Later in life when her vision deteriorated, she would come to me to say goodnight and always have little bits of Ponds on her face. I would laugh, rub her face and hug her while telling her how cute she is. I remember it so clearly. I still have her Ponds Cream. Occasionally I smell it and remember her face. She lives on in me.

so sorry for your loss. My mother died in February 2009 from multiple myeloma. It is such a horrible disease and unlike many cancers you know right from the start that there is never going to be a cure. Hopefully one day a cure will be found so no other family has to suffer the loss of someone they love to this terrible disease.

My father passed away in 2005. My mom and I were much close so her absence is much more dominant. It's like a giant void in my life that will never be filled.

Only 6 days to Mother's Day... my first one without you Mom. I miss you so much; there are no words to describe the pain. Thank you Yoel for sharing this most touching video. And job well done to your sister who created it. I know so many people who do not get along with their parents and I tell them cherish and spend every minute possible with your parents. Because it is a very sad day when you find yourself confronted with the fact that you will never see or talk or have them call you ever again in this life. I lost my father 3 years ago.He had been a quadriplegic for 30 years. I still miss that call everyday.

The person singing sounds like Kate Bush, Is it?Kate had some strange sounds but she left me good memories from the 80's just like I can see from the old movies and pics from the 60's and up from this family. How sweet, I almost feel like I was a part of this family looking at these memories.What a great tribute to their mother.I have mutiple myeloma but more important, I have a wonderful family like this and memories of them kills the thought of having mm when I need to go to a happy place.
