RE fans are very strict and stubborn about this, and they are right. what you now call "resident evil" is just an action "shoot-the-hell-out-of-em" game for kids and people who want to get past their fustration in life

@realityisable1 the trick here my friend is once you've entered this tank is to run quickly to the exit on the other side. its not practical to engage them head on while the tank is full. after draining the tank from the inside, then you shoot em.. good luck......

Problem is not even a single game even in this gen can cover as much detail in one frame, all use tech to fake like bloom, deferred rendering, and whatnot but all fall flat against remake's elegant, clever and painstaking detail. Its not even that easy to do THIS level of renders. Besides that it suits RE and does its job for atmosphere.
