Great video and song combo! But, they did not meet at Art College. They met at a Church Fair in the hall after the Quarrymen had performed outside. Read this great book: The Day John Met Paul by Jim O'Donnell. The whole book is just that one day. Excellent..

@beatleholic13 You have to know that this scene NEVER HAPPENNED in real life. It´s a creation by the director. Paul called him to say it was inaccurate, that John never hit him in his life. "It´s just a film" is all he got for an answer. The whole film is full of inaccuracies (most of them dimminishing Paul´s personality) that make in belong in the "Fiction" category.

@beatleholic13 He punched Paul because Paul's mother died and at the funeral day in Julia's (John's mother) house Paul started playing her banjo. John tried to break the banjo when some kid stopped him. John head butted kid and went out side when Paul went after him and said: "You want to punch me? Well, go on then!" and John punched him. Immediately John hugged him and said he was sorry. John and Paul went inside and John apologies to kid he head butted earlier and says:"I'm a dick."

Yes, the song is about Paul and Linda, but if you notice, the phrase "You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead" seems to refer the friendship between John and Paul... It's probably they also put this part to remember when The Beatles adventure began... :)

People are mistaken interpreting the song about the two legends, but Paul said it's about him and Linda, who at that time they were starting to develop a relationship... ;) coz Linda, at that time still live in the US, so for a time they were in a long distance relationship sort of... :) cheers
