  • It's easy.. see the little row of stars just under the Video to the left? click the one on the far right.. :^) - Thanks Rob

  • I say stick with your orginal ideas Rob, they have been GREAT so far.

  • Well so far with what you see the weight of it is 6.5-Lbs.. Alot? Nah I don't think so.. -Rob

  • It's been a long time but I remember a big argument about sprung vs unsprung weight and the effect it has on steering.

I would prefer the "pull a mold and make the whole thing in Fiberglas" route.Especially with extended forks.

I really like the quality of work.

    It's gonna be "something else"

  • Those Forks aren't extended at all.. It's the RAKE that makes them look longer.. The seat also dropped about 10" inches from stock and will be back about 5 when done.. Thanks! -Rob

  • You get old,you get tri-focals and then see things not as they are

  • Oh I'm sure.. well stretched Forks are like $200 or more.. the drop and rake helped here alot.. -Rob

  • you guys rock!!

  • Cover in material, fiberglass it, and forget it. Five pounds or so isn"t going to affect performance enough to outweigh (no pun intended) the benefits of durability.

  • oh yeah!

  • Nice job berkelusa , Nice job!

  • Thanks.. Here's one for ya.. Do we cover the ribbed area in Fiberglas and forget it.. or do we pull a mold and make the whole thing in Fiberglas.. I guess that's a weight thing.. But what about all the weight we have already lost?.. This is about 4-5 pounds.. I will weigh it up and see tomorrow.. -Rob

  • Your right about the weight thing, power to weight ratio is big, but like you said you cut alot of weight already, tough call man. I know by the quality of work i see in your vids you will make the right choice. Keep on ROCKIN it berkelusa !!!!!

  • I say blast it and put some rust preventer then glass it and keep the stock fender right where it is - more durable in the long run
