I do like metal but I'm more about lyrics and most(not all) metal is either satanic or about killing people, rape, death. Not exactly the most pleasant subjects.

yeah mencia points out that a lot of the music today sucks. i'm not down on the kids, but a lot of the shit presented today lacks the power that say, the 80's had or even early 90's. all music sounds the same today, like the same 3 types. all rap sounds the same(which it normally would), all rock sounds the same, and all of this shit pop sounds the same. there was more variety back oi nthe day, and believe it or not a lot of the kids today who hear the old stuff like it from what i heard..
