@ScientistOfSound1 It's not a problem searching for music this days. Look at all the bands in the "suggestions" and you'll find a lot of good old Trippy/Psych bands.
@ScientistOfSound1 Like another comment said, look in the related videos on the side. Golden Dawn is a great band like this, same with the 13th floor elevators. Children of the Mushroom is good too, along with Strawberry Alarm Clock. Hope this helps, and peace!
@ScientistOfSound1 For similar stuff, I suggest delving into the countless obscure compilations of 1960s garage psych. They are full of gems such as this. And though this is from the 1990s, little-known 1960s music is spectacular!
mushrooms av been my most intense, but however crystal type acid (microdots) have come extremly close to mushies.saying that the microdots were strong but in a different way.....we dried about 2 medium supermarket carrier bags of mushies out,my illitrate freind made the TEA !!! i said 2 tspoons he used 2 ladles (bout 2 1/2 cups) EACH they were 5 of us -to start with! then one by one we all went down lower than whale shit,me included!---☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮
ethel tripped a mean- ethyltriptamine, get it (diethyltriptamine-DET; dimethyltriptamine-DMT, naturally occurring on the skin of certain frogs and very close in chemical structure to psilocybin)? This one-man Kingston, Ontario-based band is the closest I have found to the vibe created by the S. Barrett-era PF ca. 1966-early 1967 (in rare performances in the 1990s they expanded to stage group of 4 or 5).
Totally different thing compared to psilocybin. The experience will be far more intensive and out of your body. Our pineal gland also produces DMT (sleep-state, before death and in religious states of mind). Substance full of secrets.
viink: I never took DMT. In the '60s it was known as the "businessman's trip" because the experience, while intense, was generally over in 30-60 mins. However, as recounted by Tom Wolfe in Electric Koolaid Acid Test, a number of people avoided DMT because, in spite of its brief period of activity, it had a stronger "flashback" potential than acid, and the flashbacks tended to be harsh and jagged...one Merry Prankster had problems with DMT flashbacks during the Furthur trips summer '64.
I believe it can be pretty wicked substance. I also believe that it isn't recommended to be taken more than one time in a year. Shamans are also familiar with dmt. And by the way, Our brain can work like time machine. For example, i can recall very detailed memory when i got my first sega megadrive (with all the feelings i felt). Same thing can be happened when we experience a intensive psych trip. My opinion is that flashbacks are not to be afraid of. Unknown frightens people.
I'm a big fan of groups like Soft Machine and Ultimate Spinach but In some ways, OAM out 60's the 60's.
