while referencing ethnic cleansing and discrimination, funny how he looks over the entire history of the state of Israel (with a straight face) and goes to anti-gay marriage laws.
Good message for all those who would listen to it. So sad, however that some of the comments made here, which detract from such a heartfelt message — appear to have been made by conservative, tight-ass'ed republicans whose only interest is in making anti-jew and anti-gay comments. F.U. and the horse you rode in on, folks.
Passover is the holiday of a sacrifice , in place of humans, of the lamb's blood. It is more than simply a time of "getting along." It's disrespectful to God to try to make it into something it is not.
Woud suggest you all watch Torch Song Trilogy, written and Starring Harvey and Matthew Broderick. Its far superior to Mrs D and anything else he has ever done
I love this guy. He's so funny in Mrs. Doubtfire and Independence Day. The reason why he's so funny because of his voice. His voice made me laugh in Independence Day. *sighs* Good times.
I thought his performance left a lot to be desired. Obviously his voice is very unique and memorable but I thought that it prevented him with the range required from the musical score and also with the emotional range in the production. I'd pass on this performance and see it some other time with a different cast.
I'm a devout born again Christian, but Harvey is a funny guy. How he searches to reconcile or define his gay lifestyle, atheist beliefs, Jewish background and it all comes out in a funny way. He's just a born comic. Was the Christ movie he mentioned the Passion? "the Christ movie, you know which one with the I don't wanna mention.....", so funny.

FYI, the pyramids were probably not built by slaves.
Google a Harvard Magazine article: "Who Built the Pyramids?"
It don't have an axe to grind, it is merely historically interesting.

Saw it just two days ago. I went for the Topol farewell tour, though Topol backed out two weeks before, bringing Harvey in.
I have to say he did fantastic with the role; not what I expected, but great nonetheless

@skymunro Quickly, I'm just curious, if I wanted to use that word to describe a woman, would it be the same word, "Mensch", or would it be altered?
Just curious, thanks :-D (Still learning)
