Hmm... an independent reviewer with years of monetary and fiscal policy experience, or a user who simply has it in for Gordon Brown no matter what he does. I wonder who I'll listen to more.
Lower down the order you mentioned a million public sector jobs which cannot be afforded. So, what, instead we should have a million more unemployed?
The public debt should be brought down, of course it should, but only when the recovery is strongly underway. Don't worry I'm ready for the thumbs down!
I visited England I loved London , the british people very very friendly , England doe's have a problem with Muslum ;s
they saw the cross and shield emblem on my luggage and they tried to poison me at heathro airport while I was there the Great Rock bank had it's run , I'm in the US , the Government will change in the favor of the people , if you can manage to get your guns back, fear a government that fears your guns , Washington here finally has woke up to facts
Government spending ultimately is funded by taxes, so cutting taxes and increasing spending is impossible, because increasing spending is raising taxes (even if it is in the future).
I never suggested that the government should spend more, it should be slashed radically. The New Labour government is deliberately spending money like it's going out of fashion to buy votes. The economy is taking a MASSIVE hit from this tactic, just to save Gordon Brown's neck.
New Labour hired a million people doing useless non-jobs, that one million more voters for New Labour. It CANNOT be afforded.
It makes me laugh when they talk of stimulus packages as it's only money that they sucked from the economy in the first place, but now their just rewarding the failures and apparently we owe Gordon Brown & Co. a debt of gratitude for it, even though it was his recklessness in spending others peoples money in the first place! Why is theft a Crime?
id rather put my bollocks in a frying pan, than see gordon brown work for the IMF. Both equally insane!

I think we're done for ? You can't counterfeit your way to prosperity. That's why gold and silver is money you can't counterfeit it.
Sheople have to realize the fiat money system has ended.
Buy gold and silver or watch your saving go to Nil.

Of course they love it, the IMF has every intention of leeching the life out of every western nation just as they do to Africa.
