@ToddHowes -- What did Christians think of Romney issuing 378 marriage licenses to same-sex couples in 2004-06? More than any other action by Romney, these special licenses demonstrated where his heart was on the same-sex marriage issue since they were purely discretionary. There was no mandate forcing Romney to issue such licenses. This calls into question his authenticity as an alleged social conservative candidate.

The church is riddled with arrogance, but I think it stems more from the notion of how they EARNED church membership on earth by virtue of their RIGHTEOUS works in the pre-existence. This is the same reason given for blacks not getting the priesthood, because they were pre-existant fence sitters. They feel that they are, and have always been eternally BETTER than everyone else! Not just that they WILL BE exalted, they already are & the more people they convert, the higher they go in the MLM...

@MaryMarchNewell Oh this drives me nuts. I'm a convert to the LDS church, I joined over 30 years ago. We don't feel we are eternally better than everyone else and you know it! Oh it just drives me nuts that ex-Mormons think these things and spread all these misconceptions. And then people BELIEVE them!! It is SO not true!!

You say exMormons are wrong, but what are they wrong about? Do Mormons not believe that Joesph Smith divinely intterupted the golden books which make up the Book of Mormon? Is it not true that he was a polygamist...and he stated the African people to be cursed by God (Curse of Cain)? If you wish to believe in the Bible I will venture an idea. Jesus, despite what you may have been told, was not a polygamist..or racist.Read the Bible and see for yourself if the doctrines line up

Joseph Smith claims all things are matter and has always existed. As a matter of fact, quantum physics gives evidence that matter does not exist , only energy. The thing we perceive as matter is resistance between differing energy fields. Joseph's doctrine is false, false, false. NOTHING in the Bible gives indication that everything is matter.

No Mormon can know for sure.

But Jesus PROMISED that we would be saved by faith in him.

this teaching is so right on. I was a Mormon (5th generation) for over 20yrs

and when I read the Bible I was so tweeked out by how humble Jesus was and how

the true GOD of the Bible was so incredibly great compared to man/ sinners ...

I would go to my LDS ward and all I heard was how i could be perfect & a god, and

how others were so deceived, I was told we are "only true church who have the spirit and the authority to baptize and lay hands on anyone to receive the Holy Ghost" what a lie !!!

Pity it is that Joe Smith chose not to endure sound doctrine & wholesome living. By precept & practice he forever separated his young, upstart religion of masquerade & counterfeit from the Christianity multitudes of martyrs have to this very day humbly shed their blood to defend & proclaim.
