  • This is the version my jazz ensemble is singing! It's gorgeous :) Gotta love the whiffenpoofs!

  • Beautiful harmonies! They're not really called the "Whiffenpoofs" though, are they?

  • I agree with the first two comments. esfloon, one can critique a performance without detracting from the accomplishments of the group. While you are right in that the Yale Whiffenpoofs is a distinguished and very talented group, I think that this particular performance does not represent its best work. In all honesty, my high school chamber choir recently performed this song better than they did. And as soon as I get a copy of the video, I will post it. Keep an eye out.

  • If you can sing this better go ahead and post it. This distinct group has been singing for quite the many years, Listen to their other pieces, or go to Yale and become an alumnus and attend one of their performances at Mory's.

  • A very weak performance in arrangment and singing. Why was this put on? Does great injustice to powerful romantic song, as done by Liberace and Jo Stafford. It is pale and vapid.

  • How did this get on? The singing and arrangement capture none of the great romantic heart of this song as by Jo Stafford, Liberace. A poor, weak performance and misjustice to a powerful song, without any power any here.
