this was an amaZing experience. I think I was a junior in high school when they were at my school (Boston Arts Academy). Gottah love SHADES!

In 1998, seeing Shades' choreographed "More Than a Paycheck" turned me on to the group forever. So glad there are videos online.

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing them perform live yet! If they come to NYC, I'll be there. I have heard some of the members of the group perform at other events, and they are A-MAZING. Not only are they intellectually brilliant, they are phenomenally talented musicians/vocalists, etc.,

I was referred to this site by my sister in Long Beach,CA. It was wonderful to hear the voices and the reason for the choir. I would love to have additional information on the group to see if they would be interested in performing in BedStuy at St. Philip's Episcopal church.
