@aslambilal Our suggestion is to start off with the Preciso. Between having the microadjustments and the optional Portaholder, it's definitely worth the extra dollars. About modifying the Virtuoso, the technical support team at Baratza can walk you through recalibrating the Virtuoso down to as fine as a Turkish grind.
@aslambilal It really comes down to you and your commitment to enjoying fine coffee. The best rule of thumb is always to invest in a better grinder since the consistency of the grind makes up 80-90% of brewing a good shot.
I'd like to see a new review with the new burs, they are supposed to be much better, some say even better than the Vario.

Between the Virtuoso and this Preciso, what would you suggest to a beginner who wants to learn to make espresso? Is the preciso worth the extra $100?
I've heard the Virtuoso can be modified using instructions from the Baratza website to grinder finer for espresso.
What are your thoughts on this? Should i go for a cheaper grinder to start? Then if i end up sticking with it get something more expensive?
Thanks,
Bilal
