Beast Wars Transmetal Rattrap Review

I noticed that the 10th Anniversary is the same as the transmetal versions. Not the original that's weird. The 10th Anniversary version should be a repaint of the original toy.

My Transmetal Rattrap figure was extremely flimsy, particularly the larger wheels. I'd set him in vehicle mode but even on smooth surfaces, where you'd think wheels would work great, his wheels seemed to "stick" as they would rotate.

I recently pulled this figure out of storage. I never liked how the robot form's arms tucked under the beast mode torso, but it was still one of my favorite figures. Sadly though, just sitting on the shelf for years before storage, his red metallic paint started flaking off.

i recently got this guy from, off all people, my sister's boyfriend as a birthday thing. good kid. he used to collect tformers when he was young, and he knew i still collect them, and there you go! so cool. i got transmetal primal, megs, and a couple of flip-formers off him too, but i had to pay for those.

the older rattrap toy had horrible paintchipping, kinda sucks. But I was still happy to find it, last year i was just checking out a comic shop that i had never seen before, on the way to it i told my friend "Man, the beast wars toy i wanted the most was transmetal rattrap". and my friend saw one still in box there, i was so happy xD

I remember from the show that the brown piece that makes up most of his beast-form turn 180 degrees. I am certain that the roadster's hind wheels are supose to go to the upper part of his body. More precisely, the large hind wheels are supose to be like the scapula bone(shoulder blade). Could you please check thoroughly the figure for any rotational motion for that brown part I mentioned? It 's got to be there unless the figure is completely Not show-acurate

a few episodes i really like with raptrap in it is da one where dinobot is riding on top of him (minds out of gutters people) another 1 is where dinobot gets the golden disk and goes back to the base and opens the armory and takes all the guns and they have that big ass battle with all the transmetals and the newly awakened fuzors i believe that episode is called rise of the fuzors or something i forgot haven't seen it in a while but in the end of it dinobot rattrap and cheetor are behind rocks

I don't know if your aware of this, but the BIG wheel hubcaps can pop off and make makeshift shields. You have to get your fingernails in the grooves, though. Also, Dinobot can ride him in rolly-mode :3

I like this one because, despite that it's not 100% show accurate, it doesn't look stupid in beast mode. No undercarriage like with Dinobot, where you can see his legs clearly. It's a good model.
