That couldn't be any further from the truth. We need a very strong defense. Currently... with the bulk of our soldiers overseas and getting killed, with trillions of the US budget going to "support" the war (with much waste,overspending,uncontested contracts,etc.) and the closure of so many bases stateside, I'd say our "defense" is dramatically weakened.
