  • nice vid, is horse manure commonly mixed in with yard waste?or do they normally do seperate pick ups?

  • @WMmaster626 dont know I've never seen any other horse manure collection before.

  • @3amrepmike3 yeah, i never seen a horse manure collection either except in rolling hills estates

  • @WMmaster626 its collected with the yard waste because it all gets composted thats how they do it over here

  • @100Burrtec100 ok, thanks!

  • Beautiful settings in this video. I love the rural shot at the start with that massive line of bins - also if I understand correctly, those larger black carts were full of horse shit? lol The start of the 3rd and 4th clip was sweet with the hilly and windy approach. Sweet footage, nice sounding machines too. Recently I also got one of those chargers which you can plug into the ciggy lighter - yet to put it into practice though.

  • @MitchellM15 actually, the massive line of brown carts at the beginning are full of horse shit. The larger ones are dark green and for standard greenwaste. I really like this area but filming is very tough here, homes are miles apart and the other area where the windy road is to dangerous to find parking spots and such to film more of unfortunately

  • So many bins.

  • nice vid!!! great burrtec lid flipping. didn't sean film here one time?, but i believe they were delivering the carts.

  • @3amrepmike3 yeah i thought i recognized that cite you filmed on. nice trucks they run there. do you know what used to run there?

  • @TheTrashman97 blue barrel disposal had these routes before, their carts are still all over the place

  • @3amrepmike3 ohhhh that must of been a heartbreaker for you guys.

  • @TheTrashman97 nah, Burrtec only has these small areas in the Valley. WM is still in the city

  • @TheTrashman97 nah, they only have these small routes in the valley. WM still does the city of Santa Clarita

  • @TheTrashman97 nah, Burrtec only has these small areas in the Valley. WM is still in the city

  • The Horse Crap load must be just plain gross lol.

  • @lawnboy1010 lol horse crap is basically just grass when you think about it. I live in an area of the city where every other house has at least one horse so I'm used to it I guess lol

  • @3amrepmike3 - LOL only some people in my whole area have horses and that just stays on the ground hahah. My aunt has quite a few animals in southern va so they just make a big compost pile.

  • cool post! dang a lot of bins at the first clip the person in the beetle behind the amrep was probably like FML haha i liked those shots of the truck going on the winding road seems like there was always people trailing behind the trucks not sure whether to go around or wait it out haha

  • @garbagekid1 LOL yea, this is just a hint of what I'd liked to have filmed up here from Burrtec and WM. They have windy dirt road routes through hills I wanted to get but wasnt able to

  • Damn that's alot of carts in the first setout in the video!! What kind of camera do you use?

  • Awesome, all the same drivers as me! The missing Autocar badge on the green waste annoys me! I hope they fix it.

  • @ksb0909 I managed to catch all 3 of your drivers in this film? nice! I hate when trucks have no badge. Im just waiting untill I see one on the side of the road LOL

  • @3amrepmike3 Haha ya. Autocar needs to fix that! Same thing happened to my trash (truck in this video), took about 6 months to get a new one. I have noticed it on quiet a few Autocars trucks.

  • Nice! Like those manure carts, pretty unique. Brownie points for Burrtec lol

  • @reyflow8 "Brown"ie? Just noticed that..

  • Well dayyumnn...check out that line of bins at beginning! Were all those 65's manure bins? Sorta pointless if they mix it in with yard waste lol...at least you got most of that line on film, never seen manure bins being emptied before. Speaking of that first shot, I like how rough that truck's arm was. Definitely was using the switched and not the joystick there lol

(contd below thanks to dumb YT comment limits)

  • my comment part II:

It's neat seeing trucks having to navigate crazy windy roads like that. Btw isn't 4:12 where some relative of Sean's lives? That stop seems familiar and for some reason I remember him saying it was like his aunt's house...? Or am I losing it?

Awesome footage! Hope you post something else within the next day or so, don't know if 6 minutes will hold me over till next weekend hah

  • @Trashman242 ahah YES! this is where Sean used to get his videos form years past. Not the exact spot, but not far from it. I might post something within a few days. But I will post videos your dying to see as my 250th video mark. So yea, look forward to that. I still have to choose which of the mamy videos I have will be put up untill then though :D

Rocker switches ftfw. unless it an automizer or select other trucks. But pendpac, amrep, rapid rail, curbtender and other, rockers all the way!!!!

  • @3amrepmike3 yeh good memory or what ?! lol looking forward to the 250th

Well sometimes joystick would be better since you get to control how fast you want the arm to move. I remember an ESD driver who used it (odd...) but it was on a line of bins like this and it really seemed to help, squeezing in between carts and being able to slow down/speed up the arm a bit.

  • @Trashman242 yup. LA City drivers can do that with rocker switches too. Infact a lot of the drivers squeeze to prevent it from slamming into the hopper so hard, or from whipping lids as fast. You can do that with rockers too :D Seans yardwaste driver does it all the time from what he said

  • Without you and chillin I probably wouldn't have joined YT!

Awesome footage! Cart @ 3:40 seemed pretty heavy....

Did the recycle driver @ 3:07 really have to turn around or just letting cars pass?

  • @JaccobDalton letting cars pass. No way in hell they would turn around here

  • Good stuff! I like that line up a lot! Too bad your cam died. Glad you were able to charge it though! Glad you were able to get so much of these trucks!

  • is this the guy we almost ran into going like 60 cuz of that dumbass that got half way around then slamed her brakes?

  • @reuterhunter1 yup the truck doing the recycling is infact the guy we almost plowed into because of the dumb bitch that cant drive.... shit was scary.

  • @3amrepmike3 I almost slammed into #64 the other day on an unprotected left turn lol...wouldn't that have been a story too, getting out and having to apologize to my least favorite driver who has never said a word to me. Also awkward.

  • @Trashman242 haha yea... akward!

  • @3amrepmike3 lol left 30 skid marks well always remember t6hem

  • @reuterhunter1 30 foot skid marks that almost led right to the back of n Amrep.... lol woulda been a bit ironic in a shitty way

  • Non highway pussy tires, non city streets and Autocar... All good qualities in a video!!

  • @KFCOrBust I agree! but I think you made a typo when you typed Peterbilt. You accidentally wrote it out as Autocar. But its ok because I knew what you meant!

  • @3amrepmike3 LOL funny guy!

  • whats the point of have two seperate bins if they go in the same truck? yes I understand it can be for weight purpoeses..but still...?

  • @garbageboy2009 weight is the only reson needed to do it. Its bad to not be able to dump a can. makes the hauler look bad and strains customer relations even when the customers at fault. Just preventive steps to avoid that situation

  • Great stuff. If I were driving behind a garbage truck on those roads, I'd wait. Not worth risking your life just to get to your destination faster. That is what some people don't realize due to their own impatience.

  • @RainbowDisposal yup and as the video shows, the drivers pull off the road as much as possible to let cars past. Might slow ya down by 2 minutes but 2 minutes over hours from a wreck or worse, Id say its not worth the gamble.

  • Why the ****ing **** would you ****ing try to pass up here? Are you ****ing trying to die? Oh my god...

12 65gal carts doesn't come close to 39 95gal ones ROFL except manure probably ain't so great lol this is a great video

  • @legodude24652 maybe so, but seeing as these 17 carts plus one trash and one recycle came from one house, Id say this is a pretty damn long line :D

  • I'm liking the horse manure collection, too bad they do it the same load, would be kinda cool to see only manure. I have been looking fiorward to seeing Burrtec out there, do they have any pup trucks?

  • @r6man2 yea I was wondering if they were the same or seperate. I have a feeling a lot of places mix those. As far as I know they have no small trucks of any sort. They have a split body Maxon ASL but its just for parts :/ Id kill to see a split body maxon out here! They also have no MSLs since there carts are all without a catch bar on them.

  • @3amrepmike3 I swear to god if you get that Maxon I will be so HAPPY!

  • @r6man2 haha so would I! but its a parts truck! its being parted out to fix the other volvo they have. All there trucks are new 2007 or something close to that Autocars. They had a Pete and 2 volvos for a while but only one volvo remains and said Peterbilt has vanished all together. And said maxon is not being gutted. A split truck would be good for this main road. only 2 trucks rather than 3 have to come down it. they dont see it the same way I guess :/

  • @3amrepmike3 God damn it.

  • Nice! So these are ex Blue Barrel routes right? So are those brown carts at the beginning horse manure?

  • @WasteManTony Yes and Yes lol
