I'm all about this book but when I read it I feel like I'm missing something. So they mutated and within months are masters of ninjutsu? Bam just like that? And they're aware of there lives prior to the mutation? Anyone care to fill me in?

I really enjoyed this issue, its just a fun book all around. I feel like it doesnt try to be more than it is, which is a turtles book in a time when turtles are not that popular. I just hope if the show gets canceled that the book stays around. Also, my bolts whooped on the rangers tonight!

Im nervous for the show, man. I think it is going to be super campy and kiddie...im more excited for the action figures that will come out for it to be honest, haha.

I cant even think about hockey rite now...my Senators have been shitting the bed the last week or so. I wasnt expecting much this season due to it being year one of a rebuild, but they have been playing above my expectations so far so i guess i cant complain about it too much.

I bought the 1st 3 issues on the IDW website. I regret it whole heartedly. They handled the comics poorly and the packaging sucked. Anyway I read them and was pretty disappointed. It seems really rushed in all aspects. The writing is goofy but in a cheesy and uninteresting way and the art varies from pretty good to crap. These have the potential to be really great but they aren't pushing them. And they are waaaay to short. Like I read all three in what felt like an hour. Anyway great vid!

@MasterMario22 You should call out IDW if they were damaged. One of my variants for issue 4 showed up at my shop bent in half, and has been put in for replacement. I can agree with you on the art, as im not overly impressed with Duncan's work. The stories are good but not amazing its true, and also short. I like the series but its not nearly as good as other books im currently reading...uncanny x-force for example. Im hoping that the series only gets better as time rolls on.

@Turtlepower1982 Yeah they could totally make this better. Like they could do so much more with it. They should probably get a new artist or something because it's too varied. Ex: when casey n raph gave the purse back the old woman was running she looked like a battered rag doll. That drawing made me laugh so hard. I got the 1st vol of the mirage comics and am loving every second. They are damn good comics! I have the 2nd vol pre ordered and cannot wait to get it

@Turtlepower1982 I like the art, I think it fits just right. I like the story kinda, but I think there is going to be SO much more to come. I think the writing is a bit cheesy but kids read it too so Im not complaining and Mikey says "let's kick ass" not shell I like that. I really wished that it was longer. Other than that Im happy about were the story is going. Dude they haven't even showed The Shredder and just a glimpse of Krang. They will have more to the story line but in small pieces

I finally got issue 2 and 3!! I hope to get the variant black and white one for issue 4 because it reminds me of the classic style :)

sweet man! so many damn variant covers for this series...its driving me NUTS!!!!! i have multiple copies of every issue thus far, and im only missing one variant cover for #2 (short of the store exclusive covers which i wont get).I really hope they give some other artists a shot at illustrating this book, the current style is really starting to run thin on me. Check out the artist for the Raph book (there a preview online) it looks soooo much better.

@nkit21 I've loved his art since the first issue, and I thought he was getting a little wonky in the last issue, but the fight scene here brought it all back. I love his cartoony yet kind of dark style.

The art is getting better. I wish the guy doing the art for the Raphael book was illustrating the main title, his stuff looks bomb.

I loved this issue! I agree with this being the best issue yet! Better yet is that we'll be getting two issues next month! A Raphael one-shot and the normal issue 5, which will be awesome.

yeah dude im stoked...also the Mikey book is supposed to come out in December unless they push it back like Raph this month.

@Turtlepower1982 It may be, but at the very least we'll be getting two awesome TMNT books every month for the next four months, which is great! I can't wait for the Donatello one! He's my favorite!
