  • tnx for the video im not going to buy and i never had problems with memory cooling at all

  • Good quality...

  • "John, why is Corsair so awesome and utterly destroys the competition?"

    "That's a great question, Drew."

  • Jive ass turkeys. Jive ass all the way

  • does the guy on the left have a voice changer??? or has his balls dropped about 10 meters????????

  • he has fucked up many computers so he is hiding from everyone ! he tried to install this ddr3 memory in a pentium II and burst it

  • @shuffle953 ur an idiot

  • @r3xx3r9 what? haha xD

  • @shuffle953 lol

  • all this stuff e.g. speed and capacity is so old now

    ha 8gb for video editing

u can do over 40gb (on very powerful mobos e.g. evga sr2)

  • At 0:56 the guy on the right says that DDR3 may go to 2GHz by the end of the year... in 2008 LOL

  • @aingaran2003 it did...

  • @aingaran2003 someone know their left from their right..

  • @aingaran2003 So?

  • corsair aint fastest xD g.skill got ddr3 memory running at 2400 mhz xD beat that corsair

  • this guy has a voice of one of those silhouette interviews where they filter it to maintain anonymity. really rapist sounding.

  • It amuses me that they change the socket with each one, forcing the end user to bin their perfectly capable older mobo just to purchase a DDR3 compatible motherboard.

It's a load of BS tbh.

  • What kind of show is this? the interview looks so fake. The memories are pretty cool

  • Corsair is nothing but bullshit. you pay a shitload of money for the same performance. Most of the time corsair memory is slower. People buy em just because they have goofy fans and other shit.

  • @jesses420 actually 64bit goes up to 8billion GBs of RAM. The highest windows 7 ultimate and vista ultimate support is 128GB RAM.

  • @mikey9890 lol

  • @mikey9890 actually win 7 will go up to 192gb, get ur facts right.

  • @seannz100 well thats what it said on microsoft website

  • HyperX is slow, I use 8G (4x2G) dominator gt

  • The guy on the right is sooo gay.

  • ddr3 does not get hot i dont see the use for the fan but it does look cool

  • @krispy42008 he said for overclocking users

  • i used Kingston HyperX

  • whats best corsair dominator or xms3

  • xms3

  • do i need to have a fan with my memory??

  • @adommage You need a case fan and a cpu fan + heatsink. RAM doesnt need its own fan, although some have heat spreaders

  • @adommage

    no

  • I have the DDR3 XMS3 1600, i didn't bother with the stupid ram fan though.

  • do most ddr3 memory have DHX technology?

  • No. only corsair DHX RAM uses that heatsink.

  • @lizardmannnn No...

  • i just picked this up with 2gigs sticks...with the cooling fan, i will be picking up the another 2 next month, can that fan cool 4 sticks? or do i need to buy another fan?...

  • it will only cover 2 sticks :( but you only need it if your overclocking

  • No, dippshit. It covers all four sticks of RAM and cools them very well. They even have a fan that will cover 6 sticks of RAM for the new x58 boards. Dont reply when you have no clue what your talking about.

  • that fan covers all the slots so also all the sticks you'll be fine with 1 fan

  • I want to buy a computer. These are the specs:E8400,gtx260,2gb Corsair Dominator 1066mhz,and a 780i Sli mobo OR wait 1 or 2 months for a Nehalem System (2,66 Ghz). Please answer me whitch is the better for games.(Sorry for my bad english):-)

  • Nehalem cores will be released 4th quarter this year but itll only be the skulltrail dual cpu models and the Extreme performance models. The normal desktop and sensible price range will be out around Q3 at which point they will be affordable for those not wanting to invest upwards of £500. Besides if you always wait for the next high end components by the time there released another range is announced :P

  • wow i didnt know a 64bit supported 8gb of memory.

  • it actually supports 128GB of ram someone at tigerdirect said 12TBs also.

  • P45 chipsets are out now... some supporting DDR3 and some DDR2

  • i might be building a computer soon so what should i get 8gb ddr2 memory or 2gb ddr3?

  • 2GB. You need 64-bit OS (xp or vista) to recognize more than 4GB of RAM. If you really want VISTA, I recommend installing 4GB even though not all of it will be recognized.

  • NOOOO Do NOT get a PC until next year, especially if your going for intel. Their new CPU slots are coming out soon. So any MOBO and processor, fan etc will all be out dated soon. - Which means you can either get them cheaper or go for the new stuff.

Right now DDR 3 latency's are a bit too high, waiting will help a bit for them to become better. :)

  • Hm I'm still running a Socket 478 based system and it's only "outdated" because I can't find any upgradeable parts and I'm doing things I'm not supposed to be doing :( If you don't plan to upgrade, overclock, do hardcore stuff like rendering a lot of H.264 videos at the same time, just get an LGA775 system and you should be fine for the next 3-4 years.

  • The NEHALEM cpus thats it man

  • well i think it would run faster in games with DDR3, but with DDR2 8gb it will run quiet nicely in vista64...

  • hey could you tell me something would ddr3 memory fit into my 680i sli motherboard is it compatable? please reply thanks.

  • if you have ddr2 in it now I dont think it will. The high end 790i board is for ddr3 but your board is not. Im pretty sure :P

  • 680i is a DDR2 MoBo. If you want to use DDR3, get a Motherboard that has nvidia 790i, X48 and maybe X38 chipset. Those are the current Motherboards right now that support DDR3. Some P35 Chipsets also support DDR3.
