I really don't see too much of a similarity between The Postal Service and Owl City. If you know music then you can easily tell that they are two completely different bands.
@AnotherExperience37 Owl City actually claims that he wasn't inspired by The Postal Service at all and that he came up with everything on his own, he also said that they weren't even a model. To anyone who says there aren't many similarities, I honestly believe I could play a teenager a song by The Postal Service and they'll think it's Owl City.
IMO I hear very little similarities, all the people that are bein sour about OC "Rippin' Off" PS are the people that are clearly already fans of PS which is obviously biased comments. It's the same with any New and Old band that play the same genre of music. Take Oasis and The Beatles for example.. Everybody that grew up listenin 2 The Beatles is likely to say Oasis ripped them off, anybody that grew up listenin 2 Oasis will argue against that. Everybodys too quick to judge and compare shit.

Yes Crossmeheart76 I agree when I first heard the song on the radio I was really happy to hear a new Postal Service album. Then later to find out it wasn't them. I knew I wasn't the only person to think this so I just had to make the song about there similarities. thank for the comment!!
This is hilarious! I mean, it does sound like Such Great heights is some ways but if you listen to a whole Owl city album and a whole Postal Service album, they are quite different. All music is created by taking bits and pieces from things you've heard before, and if Owl City wants to show it's influenced by the Postal Service (one of my favorite bands), I can't really complain.
Whatever!!! This is the best damn parody i've heard in days. And Owl City totally rips off The postal Service. i wanta hear more from whoever made this...

Stop hating guys. It's called "inspiration", Owl City did not steal anything. And your singing is very average.

Pretty sure if you listen to any more of their songs than "Such Great Heights" and "Fireflies" you'll realize they're completely different.
Owl City is one person, by the way.
