  • how much did it cost

  • Get a line 6 or krank

  • @xXSnOwClOuDXx I have a Line6 Spider Valve 212 and POD HD500... As to Krank, I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

  • planning on getting my first electric, bc rich v draco, what's a really good amp for a bc rich v draco?

  • I don't know what perloid inlays are.. but it's called abalone.

  • I am actually forming a black metal band called Tyrantz and one of my guitar players might use the BC Rich Draco Ghost Flame model.

  • Dude, your Ibanez S7320 is thin like the Herman Li (DragonForce) signature model.

  • @WeAreTheTyrantz Correct way to say it is that my S7320 and Herman Li signature are think like the S series as they are both derivative of the S series. The S series is well known for how thin it is. Herman used to just play a S series guitar before he got a signature deal with them.

  • @gh05trider9 Still a bitchin' guitar, though.

  • @WeAreTheTyrantz LOL no doubt brother! :)

  • How many guitars do you have? I wish i had a lot of guitars, but i only have 3. Great Vid!

  • How many guitars do you have? I wish i had a lot of guitars, but i only have 3. Great Vid!

  • @Vampirez41 Thanks man. my collection is close to 50 or so at the moment.

  • sexy

  • should i buy the draco or the dean dave mustaine zero?

  • should i buy this or the dean dave mustaine zero?

  • @deadgame6w Assuming you are asking about the Draco, I'd go with a Dean Mustaine Zero for a bit more versatility.

  • @gh05trider9 thank you :D the dean got bether picups too?

  • @deadgame6w personal taste - but the Dean Mustaine has my all time favorite metal pickup, Seymour Duncan LiveWire!

  • @gh05trider9 i love daves sound and im not familiar to the picups on the draco :P

  • hey guys, i am gonna buy the guitar from b.c. rich and i wonder which one i should buy... which one is better; draco V or beast WMD SOB ?

  • ZR > Floyd Rose

  • "holy shit!"

  • B.C.Rich makes good guitars and all are reasonably priced... except this one at like $700. The Draco honestly isn't that nice of a guitar like you said, it's more of a showcase guitar. They focused on the physical appearance of the guitar hoping people would buy it because it looks cool and not question it. Although, it may make you sound better performing as people are so mesmerized by the look of the guitar they don't concentrate on listening to you. So whatever works.

  • hey! the Ibanez is not the same of the Herman Li's one ? (Li from DragonForce ^^)

  • @SwissBassMan00 It's definitely not the Herman Li signature model. I don't think this model is associated with any artist for endorsement. Just a good ol' normal 7 string guitar...

  • @SwissBassMan00 Herman Li uses a 6-string. -_____-

  • @SwissBassMan00 yh herman li uses ibanez guitars but not tht one

  • floyd rose necks breaks strings like crazy my guitarist has gone through 6 packs of strings because it breaks them so easily and he isnt whamming hard either and the sad part is its on a beautiful dimebag razorback guitar

  • @bassplayer2011ify That depends on what string gauge you're using and what type of Floyd Rose you're using. The higher gauge, the tighter the strings, so whenever you raise the whammy bar, the tension becomes too high and then they break. I'm using 12-52 in B standard, and not even once did any of my strings break when using the floyd in 6 months. I tried using 12-52 in D standard, and I used 3 packs of strings in a week. Also, only use the real Floyd Rose, it's the best trem system in all ways.

  • your guitar is beautiful

  • ive seen the draco in real life the hardware is a kind of stain silver and the paintjob is perfect the ebony fretboard is so shiny :0

  • its so beautiful

  • dude is the draco light as my mate wants one

  • HOLY JESUS!

  • I think the b.c looks really nice but It would look better in another colour I think and the big downside is just it looks impossible to play sitting down.

  • @ellis0896 This model comes in Black Onyx as well with a bit of different configuration. As to playing this thing sitting down, it does dig in but no worse than other V shaped guitars.

  • @ellis0896 The problem is that it's a piece of shit.

  • i really really really want the S7320 in white.. i hope to order it soon

  • I got the black version of this just yesterday. It's my first guitar and it's so cool. I posted pics on my Flickr too. I go by the same name as here Thagirion3. Look me up there. I intend to play it. I don't buy things to hang on my walls unless they are posters. I'm also the type that opens action figures and plays with them. Nice review.

  • Does that "Draco" feel good? You know what I mean

  • Those guitars are "smooth as butter" :P :DD ;))

  • that bc rich looks fucking amazing

  • you have to see b.c.rich guitars in person that draco will FSU!

  • omg that bc rich is the ugliest guitar i`ve seen in my life... even uglier than the firebird X! and i don`t wanna be a jerk but bc rich use to sound like shit!

  • @KingOfShadows1500 Well I myself wouldn't lump them all into saying that they all sound like turd. Some are all right while some are terrible. I happen to think the guitar looks hot but hey i know it can't float everyone's boat. I do agree firebird is not a good looking guitar but I know thousands of peeps also think that is a nice looking guitar. this is why we collect. right? :)

  • @gh05trider9 I agree, that BC Rich is hot, especially the paint job

  • @gh05trider9- A lot of people love the firebird, it's a classic shape. Kingofshadows1500 was talking about the "Firebird X" which is gibson's newest robot guitar, and it looks like vomit.

  • @superlou1s Yes I matter of fact, just saw the whole Firebird X at NAMM 2011. They were also at CES. The guitars look like hell and the whole gimmicky thing isn't really worthwhile. Sounds terrible too.

  • like if you checkd ur sound system for first 18 seconds

  • With the Ibanez's body so thin and light, would that make the neck dive?

  • @Rossisabeast111 When I play it standing up, I don't really notice it neck diving.

  • some people just wont move past your lp or strat bodies.blitzspeer i have a draco as well as many others and it plays with the best gibsons or fenders out there.i find it to be sound wise right up there with my rr5 or high end deans .if you played one that sounded like crap at music store i,m sure the setup was bad on it as i find most guitars in retail shops have bad set up jobs on them if there even messed with at all mostly displayed right out of the box

  • i got one of these n i freaking love it, looks awesome, i bought this to replace my first guitar n i didnt start playing seriously until i got this even tho im still not great at guitar holding this i feel like a pro

  • Damn !! Want one

  • Can you sit with it like a V? cause I'm kinda used to the warbeast...

  • @FUR10USW45P yeah but it does dig just a tad more than a straight up V.

  • @gh05trider9 Okey, but does it hurt a lot, or can you get used to it? When i got my warbeast it was digging into my leg a lot in the beginning as well but it was easy to get used to

  • @FUR10USW45P wouldn't be worse or better. about the same.

  • @gh05trider9 Okey thanks for the help, im looking for my next guitar =)

  • The thin body doesn't make it any more comfortable to me;I sold my Ibanez because it just wsn't that good of a guitar. This Draco looks cool at first until you play it and realize how uncomfortable the damn guitar is;some guitar's are just novelty item's and in reality are not fun to play. The Draco sells for 5-600 but sounds like a 250 dollar Warlock,it's just a conversation piece and standing up the jack digs in to your waist and or hip.

  • will the ghost flame, only having one pick up affect the sound output?? as i dont want to waste money buying one if the sound output on it is crap

  • @MrCookiemonster01 Well it is as limited as having one pickup. It doesn't coil split as is or anything like that. I still think it's a "show" guitar so if you don't like the way it sounds, perhaps you can shove in a versatile pickup and make it to coil tap.

  • i was told that the BC draco sucks dose it really? cause i really want it cause it looks cool but if it sound sucks i don't want it

  • so yeah, been looking into getting that guitar(draco ghost flame), called every guitar store on north america (literally, took me a few days) and NOBODY has it in stock, and the shipment MIGHT be in dec. 10th......so that really pisses me off. i was told there are only a few models currently in existance...and you've got one......thats totally unfair.

  • The Ghost flame looks amazing. i want it so much. I have the black onyx Draco and I love it like it's my child.

  • hey, is that BC Rich Draco Ghost Flame guitar well balanced? does the neck drop easily when playing standing up? that would be great for trashmetal music...

  • @GibsonRocker1958 I think it's reasonably well balanced.

  • should i get this (ghost flame) or the regular (black)

  • @funkymonkey0426 the black onyx has a neck pickup which would offer you a bit more versatility.

  • @gh05trider9 thanks! ill be sure to check this guitar out

  • dude - loving that 7 string. do you have a sit of all your axes? I'd love to check out the collection.

  • @lmsjr Thank you! I can't get 'em all to fit in one picture....XD!!!

  • man the ghost flame is a beautiful piece of guitar craftsmanship, i own the onyx model, someone bought the ghost flame minutes before i got to the dealer, a little bummed, but i'm extremely happy with my purchase, its the most comfortable guitar i own, playability is unreal, and i mean come on its wicked as hell looking haha. Kudos to you man! Rock it out!

  • @DrakusEmperium666 Ah yes, a fellow Draco owner! Yes it is a piece of work. Brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. :)

  • I thought it was gonna be difficult to play a seven-string because the neck was bigger, and I was so used to the original six-string neck. To be honest, I doesn't feel much different at all. :)

  • may i ask for the wedsite where you got the ghost flame online? thanks again.

  • how much is the draco ghost flame, where did you bought it? thanks

  • @duboyduboy I think it was around $600. I ordered it online through a BC Rich dealer in Florida.

  • how much is the draco ghost flame, where you bought it?

  • Awesome! I played the black one at a local shop it was comfortable, and im wanting to order either the black one or this one sense I like the color white for guitars better, and the flame job looks great. The one I played set really well, then again im on of those people who are comfortable with playing V's even setting down, and have a harder time with the guitar that sets on your lap.

  • where is jack cable sucks! but guitar wow is very pretty!

  • that draco is such a sexy looking guitar

  • that guitar is beautiful

  • is the draco hard as shit to hold, or is it like an alexi-600 or rhoads?

    Thanks,

    Nick

  • @faggotball Just about on part with other Vs like the ones you mentioned but that extra stuff does dig into thigh a "just a tad" more.

  • I just jizzed looking at the ghost flame OMG!!

  • Since this video, have you played the Draco much? Thoughts?

I normally play a Jackson V and have no trouble sitting and playing (play with lower "fin" between legs). Can you do the same for this?

  • @westernfilet I could, I just don't prefer it. That extra wing flare does dig in. for straddling between legs, I find the one with longer horn more comfortable than a RR actually. (a bit more to hold onto)

  • @gh05trider9 Can you do a video demonstrating the sound and neck playability? Locally, I cannot find anyone who has this in stock and I'm wary of ordering one blindly.

    Thanks!

  • @westernfilet If it makes any difference, I ordered this guitar online sight unseen as well. Everyone gives you more than enough days to check it out and return if you need to. Should be all right. It isn't a guitar you will see at a local store especially any big box guitar stores.

  • @gh05trider9 Thanks!

  • that bc rich draco is UGLY! no offence

  • @Psychoguy99 none taken. just as with anything in life, it is an acquired taste and obviously can't make everyone smile at it. but that's why collecting guitars is fun. they come in all different shapes and sizes. That's why it's never enough, I keep telling my wife... :)

  • @gh05trider9 i heard that buddy

  • when's your next vid

  • @guitarzilla101 I have a new guitar (I know it's crazy to think I ordered another one) coming tomorrow or Wednesday - so I'm thinking shortly after that. But it isn't anything really special. I got it as a "beater" for me to practice with everyday... we shall see.

  • the draco is sooo awesome. didn't dig the black version of it when it came out, but that ghost flame....WOW!

  • @dobill07 Oh I love those Randall heads. I have been looking to get one at a good value. Let me know how it works out for you!

  • Sweet guitar! My guitars look like garbage compared to yours.

  • @guitarzilla101 The Draco is definitely a looker. Very happy with it.

  • @MLMguitarguy Well as I said the guitar was available on Craigslist locally and I got it at a very good price after bargaining with the seller. I will just say about half of what a brand new one would cost. I'd definitely avoid eBay for used guitars unless locally available. Seeing one in person and at least feeling it out a bit can immediately tell you whether it's worth picking up or not. Ones that have to be shipped, you just can't tell just by seeing the photos.

  • @gh05trider9 all right thx for the advice i will do that instead and sorry if the repy was posted a lot of times i am having computer problems

  • wow that guitar looks outstanding. eager to hear a demo. congrats

  • 2 amazing guitars. could u put up a vid of u jammin on the Draco. and just so u know it is called the (dra co) the second one that you say at 3 min 51sec. it is named after Draco the dragon from legends. and the star constellation. and what 7 string songs do u want to play?

  • @MLMguitarguy Hi MLM! Glad to see you back on my video again! Gotcha. Now I know how to call it properly! :) 7 string guitars are commonly associated with Vai, Deftones and maybe Korn, but I'm not really digging much of them. I just happen to really like the album, Shogun, by Trivium. Hey thanks again for checking out the vid!

  • @gh05trider9 i was just wondering because i have a 7 string and its not the best one in the world so i am thinking about upgrading to a better one and i found one on ebay and i wanted to know about how much u paid for yours (that is if you dont mind me asking) how much u paid because the same guitar is for sale. that is if you dont mind me asking how much u paid

  • 1st ! ! ! !

  • @Monster4rmda559 Hey Man you know I appreciate you checking out the vid! Thanks brother!

  • @gh05trider9 no problem man, i love watching your videos cuz i really love guitars. I especially love the Gibson Goldtop you have. I wish i could aford one :0(
