hahaha fantastic.. bubbley stuff --were is your mickey mouse alarm clock so you can get up before any one else so you can get in to the MRE line if you run out of rice..
Not trying to tell you how to put your bag together but I would suggest using some rope to tie the rice cooker and iron pan to your body. Use it like body armor. The rice cooker in front, pan in back. The cooker could also function like a pouch. I would carry my teddy bear in the cooker/pouch for emotional comfort. (very important in stressfull times}
Now, keeping it real, I must say I was disappointed John did not pull out a 5000 watt generator to power the European coffee maker that Andreas reviewed in a prior video. Honestly guys you both clearly had room in you bags for these essential items. Andreas, you must admit, if you are going to make coffee you need the best equipment possible! By the way, I didn't see you shaving brush, soap and cup . . . you can't walk around smoking a pipe without a clean shave. 10/5 gentleman.
Slow down, I'm taking notes. lol. Andreas's bag is a nice subdued color also. If he needs a place to hide out, he could place his suitcase in a field, climb inside, and people will think it's just a barn.
finally someone who understands what just the basics means. although you will still die, because, neither one of you brought any ipods dvd players or portable 42" plasma screens.
first off there is no way john is going to survive with out a bottle of scotch and your going to need a mail box to get your stuff from grainger also dont forget the hot plate
@practicalskills I completely forgot about the Scotch! Thanks for reminding me. Also, I better have my mail forwarded during the WROL situation so that Grainger can deliver. And hopefully Andreas will remember the hot plate.
Between the two of you , I think you have everything that you are going to need packed in the BOB, However there is one very important item missing. That is the hand crank generator to power the coffee pot and other appliances. hee,hee good video.
"Firepower vs. Mobility"... What a bunch of crap! If you can't live like you're home, what's the point of WROL anyway? I can take a little extra weight... if I get something in return... that skillet is definitely "good weight." This is your best work yet guys. If Nutnfancy isn't laughing at this one, he just hasn't watched it yet! Keep 'em coming!
Wow I never thought about a granger book I wonder if they will deliver to my bug out location

o.k. serious for a moment, this has urged me to take a good look at my b.o.b.
I think I've been looking at this concept wrong & need to make the necessary adjustments.
CampfireTalk 2 years ago
You know John, I may be wrong but I don't think all of those items are needed in a B.O.B. :)
I'm renaming this vid as your bug out house.
I believe our buddies over at USframe would take a cast iron skillet.
You Dudes are too much, awesome all the way through!
