    *Sees giant argument*

    ...

    I'll... go somewhere else...

  • @smatteringofapplause You made me giggle x3

  • whats the deal with guys trying to sound like botches?

  • @clugzo like what? 'botches'? wtf is that anyways? really, if you're gonna insult people, do it right, do it literal, do it in full-english, or in full-whatever language is their first/primary, and enjoy the music, or not at all. we're enjoying them.

  • @clugzo some guys don't have very nice voices but can sing. I should know, I have that problem. If I'm guessing right, he could lack bass vocal range and therefore he uses falsetto.

No idea why the hell he did use autotune though. I hate that shit :|

  • @SpiralPegasus He's probably not a professional singer. The auto tune makes nit match the song though. I know that much.

  • @tomp45 I know. That's why I hate autotuning. If you don't have enough range, just cut it.

  • @SpiralPegasus That's not fair. If you want to make art do it. Even if you can't sing well enough for the song you want to make.

  • @tomp45 I do believe it's fair myself. I have what nature/DNA gave me. I dislike autotuning because it feels like cheating.

But eh, opinions. Everybody's got one. We all can think differently about the same subject, I guess.

  • @SpiralPegasus Sorry if I'm misinterpreting something, but to me, what you're saying sounds like "If you can't sing well enough for a song, don't sing it", which sounds demoralizing.

  • @RaceBandit You're not misinterpreting. That's exactly the point. Everyone has limiations, myself included obviously. I can't aspire to reach Montserrat Caballé's notes? Well, I'll sing what I can.

Singing's easy, sure, everyone should do it. If you're writing a song and planning to sing a note you know you can't reach, why couldn't you modify it so it'd be within your range? If I were to listen a program singing, I'd much rather prefer Vocaloid.

    But anyway - opinions.
